• 2010 Austin suicide attack The 2010 Austin suicide attack occurred on February 18, 2010, when Andrew Joseph Stack III deliberately crashed his single-engine Piper Dakota light aircraft into Building I of the Echelon office complex in Austin, Texas, United States,^[4] killing himself and Internal Revenue Service manager Vernon Hunter.^[5] Thirteen others were injured, two seriously.

• 2010 Pentagon shooting On March 4, 2010, a gunman, identified as John Patrick Bedell, shot and wounded two Pentagon police officers at a security checkpoint in the Pentagon station of the Washington Metro rapid transit system in Arlington County, Virginia, just outside Washington, D.C. The officers returned fire, striking him in the head. He died a few hours later, on the next day, March 5, 2010.[1]

• 2010 West Memphis police shootings Two police officers in West Memphis, Arkansas were shot and killed during a traffic stop on May 20, 2010. Police identified and killed two suspects, identified as Jerry Kane, Jr., and his son, Joseph Kane. The two were later identified as members of the sovereign citizen movement.^[1]

This is the first time that ETA, which had always targeted Spanish officials and policemen, kills a French national policeman.[21]

One explosion reportedly occurred near to the Iranian embassy whereas the other two explosions were detonated in the west-central Mansour district within the city. The Islamic State of Iraq claimed responsibility for the attacks. It has also been reported that at least one of these blasts struck near to the offices of a pro-Iranian politician, Ahmed Chalabi.[31][32]

April 13	Bombing; kidnapping attempt	10	13	Isabela, Philippines Rebels from Abu Sayyaf were blamed for an attempted kidnapping in Isabela city in which 10 were killed and 13 injured, at least 3 of the dead were Marines and 5 were rebels. At least six people were killed in a first explosion near a sports field, while another explosion wounded 13 civilians near a Roman Catholic cathedral before a third bomb was detonated by soldiers. Lieutenant-General Ben Dolorfino said the attackers "were Abu Sayyaf members wearing army and police uniforms. Based on our initial assessments, these people were out to kidnap somebody and the explosions were part of the diversion, but our troops quickly responded to foil their plan." Major General, Juancho Sabban, head of the marines, said "I think (the attack) is meant to create havoc.... Definitely it falls under terrorism."[35][36][37]
April 15	Bombing	9	170	Yangon, Burma Three explosions went off at a park in the former capital of Yangon, Myanmar's commercial hub. These explosions happened as revellers gathered for a New Year water festival. Most of the pavilions on the U Htaungbo Road are run by companies said to be close to the governing authorities. Previous explosions were also blamed on dissident or ethnic rebels.[38][39]

Huseyin Koc was killed instantly in the crossfire, while his colleague, Malik Soysal, succumbed to injuries at a hospital. The Governor of Samsun, Hasan Basri Guzeloglu, said initial findings indicate the attack was a "terrorist ambush." Adding that an operation had been launched by security forces to find the perpetrators.[40]

Most of these attacks were near Shia mosques during prayers; it was affirmed that one bomb went off near the offices of a prominent Shia cleric. Another attack outside the capital involved a series of co-ordinated bombs being detonated in Khaldiya in Anbar province. Reports claimed the attacks were retaliation for the killings of three senior Al-Qaeda leaders by Iraqi security forces.[42]

The plane was headed to Cologne, Germany. After numerous attempts to land in a government-owned landing facility, the plane crashed into the parking lot and bounced before it landed, leaving a crash site one kilometer long. There were no ground casualties, but the two pilots were killed. The two pilots were Americans. One from Florida and one from Kentucky.[99][100][101]

After the unsuccessful attack, the perpetrator fled to the nearby Ørstedsparken, where he was caught by the Danish police. The police feared the that man had an undetonated bomb in his backpack and avoided coming near the man, until the detonation machine known as "Rullemarie", shot at the backpack to confirm that the content was harmless.[105]

The pipeline, running from Tabasco to Hidalgo,^[1] was owned by thePemex petroleum company, and exploded after thieves from the Los Zetas drug cartel attempted to siphon off the oil.^[2] The gas explosion and resulting oil fire killed 29 people, including thirteen children, and injured 52. Some of the flames in the fire became ten metres high, and the smoke towered over the city.^[3] The blast also damaged 115 homes, completely destroying 32 of them, and prompted the evacuation of 5,000 residents.^[4] Firefighters eventually controlled the blaze, but electricity and water remained cut following the explosions, and the military was deployed to the site.^[1] Mexican President Felipe Calderón visited the explosion site on the day of the incident to offer condolences to the victims' families.^[3][5] The fire was one of the deadliest in Mexican history, largely destroying an area of five-kilometre radius The Los Zetas gang, a paramilitary group involved in the ongoing Mexican Drug War, was blamed for the explosion. Christopher Bryan Speight shot his sister, her husband, and her son and daughter at their home, as well as four other people. He then escaped into a forest and shot at a police helicopter searching for him, but eventually surrendered himself to authorities. On February 15, 2013, Speight was sentenced to life imprisonment.The incident began on January 19, when police were called to a road outside Appomattox on a report of a man who required medical attention. When police arrived, they were fired on by the suspect, Christopher Bryan Speight, who also fired on a police helicopter, forcing it to make an emergency landing. Shortly afterwards, the suspect fled to a wooded area, where a force of more than a hundred police officers surrounded him. June 14, 2010  Faegh Behbahani San Francisco Taxi Crash Beats Murder Charge   DeSoto Cab Co. driver, Faegh Hassan Behbahani, (Iranian name)  50, of Daly City, was taking Ohio tourists Karen Marshall, 59, and her husband Dennis Marshall, 61 from San Francisco International Airport when the driver claims he smelled smoke as  he passed Candlestick Park. He exited the freeway, as a passing car took a picture of  his cab on fire. He found his brakes didn't work and he accidentally crashed into a freeway pillar. While the driver got out by himself with injuries, two sheriff's deputies suffered smoke inhalation pulling the couple out of the back who later died. In Jan 4, 2011, a probe concluded that the driver should not be charged with murder.

September 3 Bombing (smoke) 2 killed US airplane in  Dubai, United Arab Emirates A smoke bomb may have been responsible for the downing of aUPS Boeing Co. 747-400 Cargo Plane in Dubai. The plane was headed to Cologne, Germany. After numerous attempts to land in a government-owned landing facility, the plane crashed into the parking lot and bounced before it landed, leaving a crash site one kilometer long. There were no ground casualties, but the two pilots were killed. The two pilots were Americans. One from Florida and one from Kentucky.[99][100][101]
