1 killed 1 arrested September 9, 2014 Tanner Rix arrested after girlfriend Angel Linderman shot in car Pioneer Press Rix from Lake City MN was found standing outside a car parked in the middle of the street near a .22 caliber pistol and a knife in the roadway. In the car was the body of girlfriend Angel Linderman face down in the front seat, hidden by a car tire and a tarp. He was heard yelling during a medical exam "I actually shot my girlfriend in the face today on accident". Autopsy results indicated that several hours passed between the time she was shot in the head and his 911 call. The day of the shooting an arrest warrant had been issued for multiple felony warrants from Wabasha county. Rix was booked into Goodhue County jail Oct. 8, and charged with two counts of second-degree murder, third-degree .. and was being charged as a repeat offender in the first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse, with a previous drug possession conviction in 2012.
