It was still burning Sunday evening very close to homes and businesses.Fire investigators are quite sure it was started Saturday night by a person or a group, up on a hillside about a half mile from downtown. Residents suspected carelessness, but nobody speculated it could have been a terrorist attack. On Monday, another fire starting near a town destroyed much of Weed California.

Responding deputies then noticed explosive residue on the camper and called for further investigators.

The September 14 shooting left two women and a man dead, and a 10-year-old boy wounded. Corpus Christi police found the bodies outside separate residences at the Marina Village RV and Mobile Home Park as well as multiple weapons. Sammuel Everett Toomey Charged In Corpus Christi Trailer Park Shooting Huffington Post victims were identified by the Nueces County Medical Examiner's Office as: Pamela Kay Rhodes, 63; Ricky Ray Collier, 56; and Laura Elaine Ogden, 32. Police alleged the attack stemmed from ongoing disputes between Toomey and his neighbors.

She’s a student at the University of West Virginia. Jesse (L.J.) Matthew was the last person to be seen with Graham before she disappeared. Matthew has worked as a patient technician at the University Medical Center on the school's campus since 2012. After police raided his apartment twice, both of his roommates moved out. He has since been charged with the felony charge of abduction with the intent to defile and they will seek an arrest warrant
- September 13, 2014 Memphis man arrested for dismembering roommate wreg A Memphis TN man reported to be schizophrenic and has been off his medications is behind bars accused of killing a man who just moved in with him and then dismembering his body. A witness reported seeing a human head in a trash bag in the backyard, and Wilson was arrested after police found the head outside and a decaying human corpse inside the home, along with cutting tools. Wilson is been charged with second degree murder and abuse of a corpse and is being held on two million dollars bond.

- September 13, 2014 Hinkle, Ricky (47) Alabama (Birmingham) Hinkle fell to the floor and was unresponsive after a deputy used the Taser on him, according to the statement issued by the Jefferson County Sheriff's office. Hinkle was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to the agency. He was in jail for parole violations. [15]
