September 20, 2014   Car tries to enter White House barricaded entrance In the second security breach in two days, a man in a car tried to enter a barricaded entrance to the complex and refused orders to stop, Secret Service spokesman Brian Leary said. The man didn’t hit the barricades or cause any damage, but was arrested on a charge of unlawful entry. Almost 24 hours after Gonzalez attempted to make his way into the White House, Kevin Carr, 19, of New Jersey, drove his vehicle up to the White House gate and refused to leave. Washington DC

September 19, 2014  Omar J. Gonzalez, 42 hopped the White Hose fence at 7:20 p.m., ran across the lawn and entered the North Portico doors. He was arrested and taken to George Washington University Hospital for a medical evaluation. Heavy: Gonzalez jumped the White house fence on the night of Friday, September 19, before sprinting untouched to the north White House door, facing Pennsylvania Avenue, making his way to the vestibule and an unlocked door. He stated he stated that “he was concerned the atmosphere was collapsing and needed to get the information to the President of the United States so he could get the word out to the people. He only carried a small pocket knife, but officials found 800 rounds of ammunition plus two hatchets and a machete, but no guns in Gonzalez’s car after his arrest. Gonzalez's ex-stepson says the White House intruder meant no harm. July 19 he was arrested after evading cops in Virginia in a car with a sawed-off shotgun, two high-powered rifles, four handguns, a tomahawk and a map of D.C. with the White House and a Masonic Temple circled, and on August 25 Gonzalez was stopped outside the White House fence with a hatchet. Gonzalez is a decorated Iraq veteran, with over a dozen awards, ribbons and badges, including Good Conduct medals, Iraq Campaign medal, Combat Action badge and an Expert Marksmanship badge, but he was discharged for PTSD and a foot condition.Washington DC

September 11, 2014 Pokemon carrying man jumps White House fence: At the white house in DC, a man clad in Pokemon gear and carrying a plush doll of a character on the animated show jumped a fence and was arrested at gunpoint. Washington DC

August 7, 2014 At the White House in DC, secret Service agents made one of their more adorable apprehensions — a toddler who slipped between fence bars, made it into a secure area, and was swiftly returned to his parents. Washington DC

February 7, 2014  Man with two bags tries to jump White House fence Reuters A man with two suspicious bags attempted to climb a White House fence on Friday before being apprehended.

1 killed by police October 3, 2013 Miriam Carey. an unarmed woman in a black Infiniti coupe with CT plates was shot after she tried to breech barriers at the White house, then led police on a chase towards the Capitol campus. She rammed a squad care one block from the Capitol, then continued where she shot one block past the campus with a child in the back seat. Authorities have ruled out terrorism and believe it is an isolated incident, and definitely not a dry run for a real armed attack

October 4, 2013  Man Sets Himself On Fire on National Mall The day after Miriam Carey gets shot after driving like she and her child are filming a terrorist movie, an African American man later identified as John Constantino, 64, of Mount Laurel sets himself afire. The African American man set himself on fire at the National Mall at 4:30 in the afternoon after dousing himself with gasoline and burst aflame squatting without a shirt. Joggers passing by took off their shirts but could not stop the flames.

September 16, 2013 DC Navy Yard Shooting  34-year-old  Aaron Alexis from Fort Worth, Texas was a 4 year veteran Naval reservist and government civilian contractor who had access to the Washington Navy Yard in Washington DC miles 1.5 miles from the Capitol building. He went on a shooting rampage armed with a shotgun, AR-16 assault rifle and semiautomatic handgun. At least thirteen people were killed including the shooter, police and security officials.

Friday July 26, 2013  Woman Arrested For Green Paint Monument Vandalism In Washington DC, the Lincoln Memorial vandalized with green paint in the first incident since 1922. On 2013 July 29 a homeless woman from China woman whose visa expired July 27 was arrested for paint splattered at the National Cathedral. 58 year old Jiamei Tian was known to other homeless people and those serving the homeless. She was suspected to have been responsible for splashes of green paint at the Lincoln Memorial, on a statue outside the Smithsonian Castle, on an organ at Luther Place Memorial Church, and on statues and an organ in the National Cathedral.

September 11,  2001 9/11 attack on the Pentagon, down aircraft in PA may have targeted the White House.

September 12, 1994 Frank Eugene Corder  flew under radar and crashed a stolen Cessna 150 onto the South Lawn of the White House at 1:49 AM early on September 12, 1994, apparently trying to hit the building; he was killed, and was the sole casualty nytimes  a 38-year-old truck driver from Maryland. His relatives said he had struggled with vertiginous moods, alcohol, a drug conviction, financial problems, the recent rupture of his third marriage and the death of his father. Associates said that Mr. Corder, who was killed in the crash, even told a friend last year that he felt so hopeless he might fly a plane on a suicide mission to the White House. Another say he was inspired by a plane on Red Square in Russia.  abcnewsvideo

February 17, 1974 – Robert K. Preston 1974 White House helicopter incident Wikipedia  At 2 A.M. on February 17, 1974, Robert K. Preston, a United States Army private first class, stole a United States Army Bell UH-1 Iroquois ("Huey") helicopter from Fort Meade, Maryland, flew it to Washington, D.C. and hovered for six minutes over the White House before descending on the south lawn, about 100 yards from the West Wing. There was no initial attempt from the Executive Protective Service to shoot the helicopter down, and he later took off and was chased by two Maryland State Police helicopters. Preston forced one of the police helicopters down through his maneuvering of the helicopter, and then returned to the White House. This time, as he hovered above the south grounds, the Executive Protective Service fired at him with shotguns and submachine guns. Preston was injured slightly, and landed his helicopter.

November 1, 1950 The second of two assassination attempts on President Harry S. Truman was carried out by two Puerto Rican pro-independence activists, Oscar Collazo and Griselio Torresola, while the President resided at the Blair House. Torresola mortally wounded White House Police officer Leslie Coffelt, who killed him in return fire. Secret Service agents also were involved and wounded Collazo. President Truman was not harmed.[2]

He intended to crash into the White House in the hope of killing U.S. President Richard Nixon.

He was released on personal recognizance that day and eventually received a 1 year sentence for "Unlawful Entry" with all but 1 day suspended and 1 year probation.

  • September 19, 2014 - Omar J. Gonzalez, jumped the fence from the Pennsylvania Avenue side of the White House. He is the first person to have made it into the White House (by rushing, not considering 2009 U.S. state dinner security breaches) by having gone "through the North Portico doors." He was arrested and "taken to George Washington University Hospital after complaining of chest pains."[18]
