  1. September 25, 2014 Attorney General Eric Holder is resigning, NPR reports. Newsmax: Holder positioned himself at the vanguard of protecting racial and ethnic minorities and gays and lesbians from discrimination, fixing what he considers related flaws in the justice system. Last year, he sued North Carolina and Texas to overturn voter-identification laws that he says unfairly target minorities. He has instructed federal prosecutors to avoid charging low-level drug offenders in a way that triggered what he considers “draconian” mandatory minimum sentences. He initiated a civil rights investigation of the Ferguson police department, and seemed to give every impression of assuring black residents that the police officer who claimed to shoot a robbery suspect in self-defence who tried to steal his gun and was rushing towards him will be punished.
  2. September 25, 2014 Mother of Columbine killer to write book by Trench Reynolds Sue Klebold, the mother of Columbine killer Dylan Klebold, is said to be writing her memoirs which will deal with the 'indescribable grief and shame' she has had to live with for 15 years. Also, all proceeds from the book will go to charity and mental health research. So does this mean that the Klebolds are finally accepting responsibility for the events on April 20th 1999?  The article states that she's been wanting to write this book since Sandy Hook. That's more than fitting since just about every school shooter has paid some tribute to her son and his cowardly cohort Eric Harris. Cho Seung-Hui, Stephen Kazmierczak and Adam Lanza all viewed her son as a hero
  3. September 25, 2014 Former Manchester NH Student With Pellet Gun Lockdown Wanted Reference Letter The suspect who was reportedly seen with a handgun tucked in his waistband, prompting a lockdown Thursday at a Manchester, N.H., high school is in custody. He was a 21 year old former student who claimed he was only there to get a reference letter. Alternative theory - the reference letter was only a cover story to hide that he was there to cause a security test and mayhem. Cover stories are common in the intelligence / spy business. It is similar to the fellow who assaulted a priest after he asked for baptismal records..
  4. September 25, 2014 Gonzaga University evacuated following 'non-specific' bomb threat Q13 FOX “A police emergency has been identified on the Gonzaga University, a non-specific bomb threat. After a threat was phoned in  police tweeted the private university was being evacuated around 8:20 a.m
  5. 1 injured, 1 arrested. September 25, 2014 Newfoundland Canada Teen Ran and Stabs Soccer Boy A high school aged teenager ran down from the bleachers and stabbed an 11 year old boy at a soccer. The victim was in the neck during a skills camp with dozens of young players watching a pitch in a suburban town just west of St. John's in Newfoundland, Canada.  The victim was in serious condition. The suspect in custody after he fled in a car.
  6. 1 killed 1 arrested September 25, 2014 Man charged in Baltimore fatal stabbing of Ottobar employee Baltimore Sun Nicholas Brandon Heath, charged with first-degree murder in the stabbing death of Tom Malenski, 35, early Friday at the Remington concert venue. ..when he helped a co-worker break up a fight and removed a patron, according to police and the bar's owner... Malenski was stabbed in the neck. The other victim, a 33-year-old bar employee, suffered a laceration to his face.
  7. 1 bomb, 1 arrested September 25, 2014 Oregon Teen Accused of Bringing Homemade Bomb to School ABC News  A 16-year-old boy is in jail after allegedly bringing a homemade bomb to his high school in St. Helens, Oregon. The student at St. Helens High School, near Portland, showed off the device he made to friends at school Friday morning, police said.
  8. 2 killed September 25, 2014 FBI workers killed in Ohio River boat crashes into barge identified Two off-duty employees with the Cincinnati office of the FBI were killed late Thursday when their 19-foot pleasure boat slammed into a massive barge traveling down the Ohio River... It appears the boat crossed "right in front" of the barge just after 11 p.m. (very odd way to die)
  9. 2 threats [Two similar threats same day, same town, 2 different suspects arrested] September 25, 2014 Teen arrested for Ludlow High School threat Matthew E. Kurtz, 18, of Ludlow, facing multiple charges LUDLOW, Mass. (WWLP) – One person has been arrested for an online threat that brought about an increased police presence at Ludlow schools Thursday. Police Chief Paul Madera said that police began their investigation after being notified by students about the anonymous threatening statement made on the social media site Yik Yak.
  10. 1 threat September 25, 2014 Fire Marshal: HCC bomb scare was actually drug message HOLYOKE, Mass. (WWLP) – What was first believed to be a threat about a bomb on the campus of Holyoke Community College, turned out to be code for a drug sale. The college’s Donahue Building, which houses the library, was evacuated following a posting on the social networking site Yik Yak. According to the office of State Fire Marshal Stephen Coan, investigators were able to quickly determine it wasn’t a bomb threat at all, but rather a cryptic message about a drug sale. Coan’s office says that police were able to quickly identify and arrest the person behind the message. Same service used at Ludlow High School 8 miles away.
  11. 1 killed September 25, 2014 Chase, Police Shooting Snarl San Francisco Traffic ABC News Officers shot and killed a man Thursday after he led them on a lengthy high-speed chase, crashed in downtown San Francisco and then fired a gun at good Samaritans who tried to help him, authorities said.
