May 9, 2017 Corey Joe Hummel Charged Hit Mailboxes Wrong Way Crash Trashes Business at 2AM (ABC 6 News) "Rochester [MN] police say the man [Corey Joe Hummel, 30, of LeRoy] [apparently deliberately] hit a mailbox and a car [driving the wrong way], fled the scene and then burglarized a business [breaking glass door with metal sign, spraying fire extinguisher and pulling down ceiling] before being arrested early Tuesday morning." [for no apparent gain motive]

1 killed 1 arrested September 9, 2014 Tanner Rix arrested after girlfriend Angel Linderman shot in car Pioneer Press Rix from Lake City MN was found standing outside the Mercury Cougar, which was parked in the middle of the street. Deputies found Rix near a .22 caliber pistol and a knife in the roadway, with the body of girlfriend Angel Linderman face down in the front seat, hidden by a car tire and a tarp. He was heard yelling during a medical exam "I actually shot my girlfriend in the face today on accident". Autopsy results indicated that several hours passed between the time she was shot in the head and his 911 call.  The day of the shooting  an arrest warrant was issued for multiple felony warrants from Wabasha county. Rix was booked into Goodhue County jail Oct. 8, and charged with two counts of second-degree murder, third-degree ..  and was being charged as a repeat offender in the first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse, with a previous drug possession conviction in 2012.

9 killed 1 injured June 17, 2015 Charleston South Carolina Black church shooting In the evening a mass shooting took place at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church in downtown Charleston, South Carolina, one of the United States' oldest black churches. The senior pastor, the Rev. Clementa C. Pinckney, a state senator, was among the nine people killed. Suspect Dylann Roof was captured the morning after the attack in Shelby, North Carolina. On his Facebook page his jacket unusually has flags of two former white supremacist regimes:apartheid-era South Africa and Rhodesia, symbols once but now rarely associated in recent times by white supremacists. Roof has a prior arrest record for drug possession and trespassing. Authorities are investigating if it was a hate crime, but FBI Director James Comey has refused to consider the rampage in Charleston an act of terrorism because it was not a political act.

Linderman, who is believed to have been his girlfriend... had likely died from a gunshot wound to the head, and autopsy results indicated that several hours passed between the time she was shot and his 911 call when he said she was still was alive and needed a medical helicopter. A Minnesota man who called police to ask for help a passenger in his car who'd been shot has been charged in Wisconsin with first degree murder. He is being charged as a repeat offender in the first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse, with a previous drug possession conviction in 2012.
