also Student Staff Attacked Off Campus  ---

Attacks on school buildings, students, teachers, professors or random crimes and accidents.

In the west, non-jewish schools are only attacked by "mentally ill" persons with no political motive, while Jewish schools and persons are generally targeted by persons of one particular religion. In the rest of the world, Palestinian nationalists, Islamic terrorists, Boko Haram, IS, Al Shabab and Taliban attack teachers and schools.

By October 2014, this list is accumulating 50 incidents per month including false bomb threats, domestic murder suicides, on campus and off-campus housing, and real bombs and shootings, as well as drivers "accidentally" running into students on sidewalks in hit and run not-attacks.

Within the category of shootings, at least 17 teachers, principals, and other staff members have been killed by students since 1995, according to a map summarizing school shooting incidents published by USA Today.

In 6 years April 2007-2013 only 3 active shooter cases on college campuses.

This is a chilling warning from 2006 of school attacks patterned after the one in Russia. Since then, Sandy Hook looks an awful lot like what he was warning about, except that he thought they would show themselves under a religious banner rather than as one angry kid with issues who does the same thing as a terrorist.

"Any place that has given [Islamic terrorists] trouble, they've come after the kids," Grossman said. Muslim religious literature, according to Rassa, states clearly that the killing of children not only is "permitted" in Islam but is "approved" by Mohammed, so long as the perpetrators "are striving for the general good" as interpreted by that religion.

Workplace deaths among elementary and secondary school staff are rare, and homicides even more rare.
In 2012, the Department of Labor reports 40 deaths and 7 homicides in public and private K-12 schools – which likely includes the six staff members killed in the shootings at Sandy Hook Elementary in Connecticut.
Within the category of shootings, at least 17 teachers, principals, and other staff members have been killed by students since 1995, according to a map summarizing school shooting incidents published by USA Today.
