Austin police said just before 1 a.m. Friday, David Estrada, 23, stabbed two people with a three inch knife. James Murray Shelton, 24, was stabbed in the stomach and arm. Christopher De la Rosa, 25, who attempted to break up the fight, was stabbed in the chest, police said. In 2008, the restaurants manager was waiting for the store to open when a former employee shot and killed him with a semi-automatic handgun. The shooter's body was found days later in a wooded area.

District of Columbia police are searching for a man they say attacked a police officer with an ax. The officer was not hit by the ax, but was being treated at a hospital for hurting his shoulder during a scuffle with the man who attacked him early Friday morning.
