- 15 killed October 4, 2014 3 Bomb Blasts in Pakistan Kill 15 ABC News A suicide bombing near a market in southwestern Pakistan killed five people and wounded at least 20 on Saturday, hours after in Kohat, a powerful, remote-controlled bomb struck a moving bus. Five people were killed and three were wounded in the bombing.. suicide bomber struck in Quetta, in the city's Shiite-dominated neighborhood of Hazara Town, an area that has seen bombings and suicide attacks in the past. Also Saturday, a roadside bomb exploded near a livestock market in Quetta, wounding five people,No one claimed responsibility for the suicide bombing, though Lashker-e-Jhangvi has in the past claimed attacks on Shiites in Quetta.
- 5 killed October 4, 2014 IRVINE CRASH: 5 KILLED RETURNING HOME FROM KNOTT'S SCARY FARM KABC IRVINE, Calif. (KABC) -- Five teenagers were killed and another was seriously injured in a fiery crash on the southbound 5 Freeway in Irvine early Saturday morning. The group was returning home from Knott's Scary Farm, Orange County fire officials said. at 2:15 a.m. firefighters found a 4-door, 1995 BMW sedan resting on top of a 20-foot barrier on the side of the freeway. All the passengers, including three teenage boys and two girls, were killed and their bodies were badly burned, officials said. The driver had a restricted license. In California, those with a restricted license can not drive between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. and aren't allowed to have passengers under 20 years old unless he or she is with a licensed driver over 25 years old. Three were members of the Mission Viejo Soccer Club the teens were traveling southbound on the 5 when their vehicle left the freeway and crashed into an embankment.

(KABC) -- Small explosions at a commercial warehouse sparked a four-alarm fire in Santa Fe Springs on Saturday, police said. Area streets are closed The fire broke out in the 12900 block of Sunshine Avenue. There were flammable liquids inside the warehouse, according to the Santa Fe Springs Fire Department.

Four persons injured – initially, the report we got was non-life threatening injuries. victims are Rashad Terrell Canady, 28, Kinston; Kevin Jermaine Johnson, 35, Kinston; Pamela M. Pridgen, 43, Goldsboro; and a another man, 2 passengers were not harmed.

A silver Jeep Liberty driven by 42-year-old Kristin Chang lost control in the parking lot, plowed through a doughnut shop. She was taken to a hospital and was later released. - 1 injured October 4, 2014 Angels fan beaten in Angel Stadium parking lot An Angels fan is in critical condition after being severely beaten in the parking lot of Angel Stadium after Friday night's playoff game. The victim and his cousin were leaving the game when the 43 year old was suddenly attacked from behind without warning and "just started beating this guy. - October 4, 2014 1 person, 3 dogs killed 1 arrested UC Santa Cruz Student Returns to Hayward Mother to Stab Her to Death A 20-year-old Hayward man is in jail after he told police and neighbors that he stabbed his mother to death Saturday night. Neighbors say Joseph Daniel Badiali came home to visit for the weekend from UC Santa Cruz. Badiali stabbed his mother to death with scissors and killed three of the four dogs that were in the home. He has been arrested and held without bail on a murder charge. Badiali is a town in central Italy.

- September 22, 2014, arrested October 3, 2014, TEMECULA CA: Suspects arrested in fatal apartment shooting Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Temecula.Eligha Everett, 22, of Temecula, was arrested Friday on suspicion of shooting and killing Justin Triplett, 24, on September 22. Leah Nolan, also 22, was arrested on suspicion of aiding and harboring a criminal. Triplett was shot on September 22 in his apartment, where police found him shot and he died at the scene.

- October 3, 2014 Man charged in bomb threat case attacks medic, says he's tortured by satellites Orlando Sentinel A 31-year-old Deltona man Matthew Osborne was charged with making a false report of planting a bomb and disrupting an educational institution at Volusia County's Pine Ridge High School at 1 p.m. Friday... third time within in a week that Central Florida schools had to be evacuated because of a bomb scare.. Minutes after the phone call, he called 911 and punched the paramedic in the throat. When taken into custody, Osborne used profanities, said he was being tortured by satellites and made other comments that did not make sense. He has been in the Volusia County Jail more than 20 times since 2003 for charges including burglary, domestic violence and drug possession. No connection has yet been made to seven county school evacuated on Sept 26, or 3 on September 29. Related Police: Man called in bomb threat at Walmart in Orlando. The Navy Yard shooter also believed he was affected by electronic signals. This man combines two terroristic attacks, bomb threats and attacking first responders. There is only one possible motive that is consistent with these attacks.
