An "uncharged suspect" claiming he was responsible for killing the the men turned himself in to police. The victims were identified Billy Jack Chatman, Freelin Hensley, , Darrell E. Lewis, and Gerald Lee Smith. Police say the suspect knew the victims, but the victims didn't know each other. The has a criminal record that includes felonies, but no indication of violent crimes

Kevin Adorno, a 28 yr old man from Connecticut was finishing an East Coast bicycling trip stopping and chatting with his girlfriend in the parking lot of a McDonalds when he was fatally stabbed by a stranger. Rene Herrera Cruz, a homeless man originally from Cuba was arrested across the street and charged with first-degree murder. Cruz told police it was in self defence as he thought Adorno was directing other people by cellphone to attack him. - August 30, 2014 Florida: 2 arrested after bar fight, threatened to “kidnap an American and behead him” (creeping) Staff at the Jus’ Beachy Bar on Ocean Shore Boulevard claimed they refused to serve alcohol to 54-year-old Faisal Albagdadi and 30-year-old Ahmed Hindi after they walked into the bar already drunk. "I got a huge fight going. I mean they’re tearing (expletive) up,” the caller told 911 dispatchers. “We wouldn’t even serve him when he came in, he was so drunk.” The men smashed six bar stools, threw several glasses that cut one woman in the eye and beat up a couple of men... not only did Hindi deny initiating the bar fight, deputies said Albagdadi was uncooperative and threatened to “kidnap an American and behead him, once he’s released from jail.” Albagdadi was previously arrested on Aug. 23 for drunk driving charge. They were not charged for making a terroristic threat.
