SUNDERLAND, Mass (WWLP) - It was a weekend of senseless vandalism in Sunderland where tires were punctured and flattened on 40 vehicles. Many of the victims 22News spoke with Monday said they're graduate studentsthat go to the University of Massachusetts, living on a fixed income, and they still don't know how they're going to pay for repairs. [so it's an attack on college students too] Troll who says it's normal, not terrorism: akklepie Oh god, its called youth that are bored out of their minds. It happens every year around thousands of city and its been going on since the car was first put on the road. You got youngsters with no money and nothing to do. Think about all the escapades every single adult here has done during their young years. Old news move on! Perhaps its time for cities to provide indoor entertainment for the masses that wont cost people dough, especially for the young ones that are full of life and are stuck with nothing to do. // many youths that aren't doing any wrong have a lot of resentment and fear because of the way they are approached by the militarized type police tactics. And as long as video after video of police being caught beating and terrorizing people of certain looks the resentment will just keep growing. Time to address the problem from its roots, POVERTY, MIXED NEGATIVE MESSAGES FROM ENTERTAINERS AND THE FEELING OF HOPELESSNESS AND HATRED THAT ARISES FROM STEREOTYPES & UNFORTUNATELY RACISM. //Their is something seriously wrong with our criminal justice system when this criminal that had a badge is still walking free in the streets to pose as a serious danger to society
