August 29, 2009 Guy Heinze Jr. was found guilty in October 2013 of killing his family, beating them to death inside the Brunswick trailer they all shared back in August of 2009. Heinze was smoking crack cocaine on the day of the attack Aug. 29, 2009, and was believed to have inflicted crushing blows to the head from a shotgun barrel. Lawyers argued it would have been nearly impossible for one man to beat eight people to death inside a cramped mobile home without someone getting away. The jury concluded that Guy Heinze Jr., 26, of Brunswick, killed all eight victims after an argument over a bottle of prescription pills.
