October 21, 2013 Police: 1 dead, 3 hurt in Bally's casino shooting Customer got into argument over refund for cover charge, then started shooting. Argument is just cover story for mass shooting  man who paid to enter Drai's got into an argument with management when he wanted his cover fee refunded. The argument led the suspect to pull out a gun and shoot a manager at the club. Police said at least three people - one patron and two security guards - tried to get a hold of the gunman. The patron was shot and killed while the two security guards were wounded by gunfire The suspect was taken into custody.

He and nine others inside the bar held the gunman down until police arrived. Mazzaco was charged with homicide, attempted homicide, two counts of aggravated assault, 11 counts of reckless endangerment and weapons violations Mazzoco was the father of two young twins. He lived with his mother Gloria Mazzocco, 60, who was arrested and face gun charges as she held permits for two of the three handguns he used. A third gun was provided by a friend, but David was not allowed to have any guns. When asked, Mazzoco could not give any motive for the shooting.
