July 14, 2013Pullman WSU Dorm Fire  In Pullman Washington, Bryan Lee Kitchen, 31 arrested July 22 in connection with a massive July 14th fire at Washington State University which in which explosions from propane tanks destroyed four buildings at the nearly finished Grove $13M dormitory complex and clubhouse and several vehicles. When the fire flared up at 3 a.m., residents nearby had to evacuate. Kitchen was a a sub-contractor had only been licenced 2 weeks before as a trainee.

His car was seen late at night near the scene. When police asked why he was there at night, he first told police he had a feeling that someone had been shot and he had to check out the site, then that he had to check to see if tools had been stolen. After police told him the the polygraph showed he was lying, he had accidentally dropped a cigarette, then that he he used a lighter because it was cold. Then he finally he had set the because voices in his head told him to do bad things, and he could not resist them since he was drunk. He was a WSU student as recently as 2005, but did not graduate. has been linked to 6 arsons of cars, garages and sheds going back to 2004, and there were 4 WSU arson fires unsolved. On September 11, his trial was to be delayed until 2014. The fire was the largest and most complicated fire Pullman has experienced in the last 30 years. He pled guilty in a plea bargain in January 2014.

Notes - hearing voices is a common cover story for deliberate terrorist attack. Some attackers have admitted this is a lie, and this suspect admitted many of  his cover stories were lies, but the police somehow bought this one. They have not considered the obvious motive for sabotage when there is a War on Terror.

Short: Arrest In Massive $13M WSU Dorm Fire No Motive
July 14, 2013 In Pullman Washington, Bryan Lee Kitchen, 31 arrested July 22 in connection with a massive July 14th fire at Washington State University which in which explosions from propane tanks destroyed four buildings at the nearly finished Grove $13M dormitory complex and clubhouse and several vehicles. Kitchen eventually admitted setting the fire, but stated it was because voices in his head told him to do bad things.  He was a WSU student as recently as 2005, but did not graduate. He has been linked to 6 arsons of cars, garages and sheds going back to 2004, and there were 4 WSU arson fires unsolved. On September 11, his trial was to be delayed until 2014.

According to Buildzoom his is a plumber trainee that only started July 5th of this year, just in time to commit arson.

When there is no criminal motive, and there are nothing but lies, and "voices", (Navy Yard, DC rampage) the alternative is a terrorist / military attack on infrastructure.

UPDATE: Pullman Police tell our Kelsey Watts that Bryan Kitchen is now linked to 6 arsons dating back to 2004 of cars, garages and sheds. They are still investigating whether he could be linked to 4 unsolved arsons on the WSU campus last year and/or other cases.
UPDATE: Prosecutor says Kitchen is now the prime suspect in a number of other Pullman arson cases. The judge set bail on Tuesday at $1,000,000 based on risk to community.
Kitchen will be back in court Friday if he's not picked up by the ATF.
UPDATE: The US Attorney's Office plans on filing federal charge(s) against Pullman arson suspect Bryan Kitchen. Kitchen could be arrested by the ATF as soon as Wednesday. Kitchen & his wife have both declined to comment, neighbors say he's quiet, and they're shocked.

PULLMAN, Wash. -- A man accused of starting a fire at several buildings at an apartment complex in July pleaded guilty to a felony arson charge Monday.
Investigators said Bryan Lee Kitchen, 31, set the fire at the Grove apartment project July 14, 2013.  Flames destroyed four buildings set to house Washington State University students for the fall semester.
  • Pullman arson suspect: 'Voices' told me to do bad thingsOn the morning of the fire, Kitchen told officers that around 1:30 a.m. on the day of the fire he woke up with a "bad feeling" that something was going to happen where he was working. Kitchen worked for a plumbing sub-contractor at the construction site. He said he went to the construction site because he thought someone had been shot and their body had been buried there.

He admitted he went up to the site and walked around the buildings while smoking cigarettes and using his cell phone. He told officers he was only at the site for 20 minutes and didn't hear or see anything so he went home and "got drunk." Kitchen said he had not been drinking before he went to the site.

On July 16, an officer met Kitchen at The Grove construction site. Kitchen had agreed to show the officer where he had walked the morning of the fire.

He told the officer he had used a lighter to light his walk around the buildings. When the officer questioned Kitchen again about why he decided to come to the site he said he had been drinking at home and got a feeling something bad was going to happen. He admitted he was drunk at the time and he lied earlier because he didn't want to get a DUI.

On July 22, detectives went to talk to Kitchen again at his home. He agreed to speak with detectives and drove himself to the Pullman Police Station.
The detectives asked Kitchen if he would take a polygraph test. Kitchen had said he would do a polygraph each time he talked to officers. Kitchen agreed to take the test.

During the polygraph, the polygrapher asked Kitchen if he set the fire and if he had any participation in setting the fire. Kitchen answered no to both questions. The polygraph concluded that Kitchen was lying
