10. Al Qaeda Terrorist Anthony E. Garver Arrested For Lake Stevens Stabbing On July 2, police arrested Spokane-area fugitive, Anthony E. Garver, age 25, after his DNA had been matched to evidence at the crime scene of the Lake Stevens stabbing. Officials started looking for him in the area. Garver had just been released from prison for threatening to blow up buildings, kill public officials, and was associated with anarchists, survialists, anti-government domestic terrorists, and using military style weapons and explosives. He had been committed to mental hospitals and had bragged he was Al Qaeda and had Al Qaeda terrorist manuals on his computer. When he was arrested, Garver reportedly was carrying a folding knife with apparent blood stains.
