These devices were similar to fuel-air or thermobaricweapons, explaining the large blast and damage.[4]

March 21, 2018 1 killed in apparent  not  terrorist car bomb attack Travis Air Force Base Vehicle With Propane Tanks Explodes At Gate A former taxi driver from India who lives in the San Francisco bay area 51-year-old Hafiz Kazi packed up his minivan with  five propane tanks, three gallon-size gasoline cans, and several cigarette lighters.  He had a gasoline can on his lap that he set ablaze when he approached and then  roared through the Travis Air Force Base checkpoint when he  crashed and died . Originally treated as a suspected terrorist attack, investigators sent in a bomb squad, but could find no jihad videos on his phone, nor any connections to terrorists, so his motive remains a total mystery.  Trivia: Hafiz is a Muslim name meaning keeper or guardian. Looks very similar to Shanghai attack which wasn't a terrorist attack either.


February 2, 2018 Shanghai Burning Van With Gas Canisters Crash Into Pedestrians Not Attack A van carrying six people and several tanks of explosive gas caught fire as it swerved and crashed into the sidewalk next to a Starbucks near a popular park. The crash coincides with British PM Theresa May's visit to Shanghai. Fire was caused by driver smoking cigarette inside vehicle. Daily Star headline asked if the van crash was terror vehicle and propane tank attack? named only as Chen by police, was smoking behind the wheel while transporting hazardous gas canisters “illegally”The man, a mental worker who has no criminal record, has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving and illegal transport of dangerous substances, local media reported. Police have ruled out terrorism and believe it was an accident. Several pedestrians rushed to break the car window to pull out the apparently unconsciously driver Alternative theory - it looks like a clandestine attack. The driver did not give any political motive but did not explain why he illegally packed with van with exposive gas canisters, set them afire by illegal smoking, then illegally swerved into the sidewalk and ran over 18 people.
