March 21, 2018 1 killed in apparent  not  terrorist car bomb attack Travis Air Force Base Vehicle With Propane Tanks Explodes At Gate A former taxi driver from India who lives in the San Francisco bay area 51-year-old Hafiz Kazi packed up his minivan with  five propane tanks, three gallon-size gasoline cans, and several cigarette lighters.  He had a gasoline can on his lap that he set ablaze when he approached and then  roared through the Travis Air Force Base checkpoint when he  crashed and died . Originally treated as a suspected terrorist attack, investigators sent in a bomb squad, but could find no jihad videos on his phone, nor any connections to terrorists, so his motive remains a total mystery.

 FBI said Kazi’s intentions and motive for the bizarre incident remain a mystery, and it has not yet found any connection to terrorism.  agents found no “jihadi-type” videos suggesting a connection to or affinity for terrorism. previously worked as a cab driver, Ragan said, though it is unknown if he still held that job at the time of his death. Investigations arrived on the scene and saw propane tanks inside the van. At that point, the FBI was called in, as were Air Force explosive ordnance disposal technicians.
