Construction worker deliberately runs over people with bulldozer in act of terrorism: The Jerusalem bulldozer attack occurred on July 2, 2008, when an Arab resident of east Jerusalem identified as Hussam Taysir Duwait (also referred to as Hussam Duwiyat,[2] Hossam Dawyyat,[3] or erroneously as Jabr Duwait[4]), attacked several cars on Jaffa Road in Jerusalem using a front-end loader (erroneously referred to as a bulldozer in the media[5]), killing three people and wounding at least thirty otherpedestrians, before being shot to death.[2][6] Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev said that an inquiry indicated the attacker had been acting alone.[7] A motive for the attack could not immediately be determined, but police at the scene referred to the incident as a terrorist attack.[5] Three copycat attacks have occurred since then.
The perpetrator, a 32-year-old father of two from the East Jerusalem neighbourhood of Sur Baher, was carrying an Israeli identity card, being hired by a local construction firm for the Jerusalem Light Rail.[5]

Horror as sunbathing mother is run over by lifeguards' patrol truck as her children look on
A calm Sunday morning on a Florida beach turned into chaos when a sunbather was run over by a beach patrol truck - as her children watched in horror.
Erin Joynt, 33, of Wichita, Kansas, was sunbathing in Daytona Beach when a lifeguard made a U-turn in the sand and drove over her.
Authorities say this is the third accident in a year involving a beach patrol employee in Volusia County
In May a sunbather's arm was run over and in June 2010 a Daytona woman suffered a fractured leg after being run over by a vehicle driven by a Beach Patrol officer.
Nine people have died in vehicle accidents on Volusia County beaches since 1983.
In accidents that did not involve Beach Patrol officers, two children have been killed by vehicles on Volusia County beaches since March 2010.
Four-year-old Ellie Bland died in Daytona Beach in March 2010 and the Aiden Patrick, 4, was killed in New Smyrna Beach in July 2010. The county introduced new signs and pamphlets after those accidents.
