July 22, 2015  SUV driven by learning permit l5-year-old crashes into Winston-Salem NC house www.wxii12.com/...crashes-into-Winston-Salem-house/34294... Teen wrecks SUV into Winston-Salem home; 1 injured ... myfox8.com WGHP  WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — teen wrecked an SUV into a Winston-Salem home ... driver of the 1997 Lexus SUV was a 15-year-old. Passengers in the vehicle were identified as a 34-year-old female  a 38-year-old female and a 6-year-old male.[why learming to drive with 2 supervising adults and 6 yr old kid on open road??? ],.teen lost control and ran off the right side of the road and collided with several mailboxes. In an effort to gain control of the vehicle the driver then overcorrected causing the vehicle to cross both lanes of Ogburn Avenue and leave the left-hand side of the roadway. The vehicle then continued to travel off the roadway and collided with a single family home. Police said driver inexperience was determined as the cause of the wreck. Speed and alcohol were not involved.

The house is a rental home and no one was inside at the time of the collision,

1 stabbed Aug 2 Stabbing attack on group of 4 on Boulder Colorado University Hill by man may have been on drugs Boulder Daily Camera - ‎James Hammack, of Boulder, is facing charges of attempted second-degree murder, first-degree assault and multiple counts of menacing.  Boulder police arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of attempted murder over the weekend after witnesses said he came up from behind and stabbed another man twice in the forearm on University Hill,,, saw Hammack "mumbling and yelling."... man had a dog on a leash and did not appear to be threatening at first. But he said Hammack started mumbling threats... then yelled out across the street, "You trying to die tonight?" then ran at them. Officials said Kendrick Brown, 37, was on his way to a status hearing to turn down a plea deal and schedule trial for later on this month when William Wells, 24, who had no prior record, allegedly drove up, got out of the vehicle and shot him in the chest.
