Sixteen-year-old Erandi Ortiz was taken to Nebraska Medicine and is expected to recover.

Whitney Lash made the call while holding her infant daughter, as men broke into the house and shot at her and her husband, Michael. The family had just returned home from a vacation. Lash: "We're being robbed at gunpoint. I just ran outside with my baby, and there is a, there's a black young man at the front door. He just pulled a gun on my husband." there were three shell casings from a .40 caliber pistol as well as two slugs inside the residence. The men left behind evidence that is being processed for fingerprints.

A felony warrant for robbery was issued earlier Wednesday morning for 22-year-old Wayman Clark. Video of the attack on a 76-year-old woman sparked outrage across the country as surveillance video of the attack went viral. That video shows the elderly woman make her way through St. Cecilia's Cathedral to pick up a pamphlet when she was blindsided by two men. One assailant grabbed her purse and the other punched her, knocking her to the ground, gashing her head on the table. The attack landed the victim in the hospital. Gang unit recognized Wayman Clark in the surveillance video, lengthy list of minor arrests. stepped up to a more serious crime. also arrested Clark's mother, Charlean Clark, for harboring a fugitive. Aug. 4, 2012. August 17, 2015 conviction Man convicted pouring gasoline lighting match in apartment arson murder of Hazelwood (St. Louis) Missouri man A man was convicted on Monday in connection with an arson fire at a Hazelwood apartment that killed a man who lived there. Jeremy Henderson, 23, was found guilty on counts of felony murder and first-degree arson. Henderson was accused in the death of 48-year-old Mike Mansfield, who was found dead in his Hazelwood apartment building that was set on fire on Aug. 4, 2012. The apartment building is at building at 5230 Villa Rosa Lane. Henderson told police he served as a lookout while others poured gasoline in the apartment building's hallways and near the door of their intended victim. It's not clue who the target was, but it wasn't Mansfield. Henderson told police he saw one of the other people light a match and set the gasoline-soaked carpet on fire. Police say they got a tip that Henderson was involved. The others have not been identified. Several other people, including an infant, were stranded on the third and highest floor of the 10-unit building until rescuers arrived. Mansfield was a gas station attendant for his landlord. He also fixed and cleaned fish tanks for Tanks A Lot Aquarium Service. He had two sons, Andy and Alex. Sentencing for Henderson is set for Sept. 21. In 2006 he received a 10-year suspended sentence for second-degree burglary.
