Friday January 17 2014 Maryland Mother Exorcism Excuse for Killing Toddlers A Germantown, Maryland mother and another woman are alleged to have killed two toddlers and trying to kill two other children. Montgomery County police believe the motive was an exorcism releasing demonic spirits that had possessed the siblings. The two dead children were found Friday morning stabbed to death on their mother’s bed.

Hong Minh Truong Sent More Than 500 Hoax Anthrax Letters Huffington Post Hong Minh Truong arrested accused of sending more than 15 batches of letters from the Dallas area, for six years starting in 2008. In all but two of the batches, a white-powder substance was put in the envelopes. The hoax letters were mailed to cities across the U.S. and to U.S. Embassies abroad. Most recently, some letters were mailed to hotels in the vicinity of this year's Super Bowl in New Jersey... focused on Truong after an IP address associated with him was identified after 28 public schools in Boston received letters in June 2013, according to the complaint. The mailings, also sent to U.S. embassies around the world, frequently contained the same disjointed rant. "Al Qaeda back!," In 2002, Truong told police he hears voices in his head. He claimed the FBI, DEA, ATF and police are after him and beaming radar into his body.

- $6m stolen, 1 man tasered 2 suspects January 27, 2014 Universal Allah Taser Leads to Milwaukee Stolen Stradivarius Violin January 27th, two armed suspects, a man and a woman, approached concertmaster violinist Frank Almond of the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra in a parking lot where he was felled by a taser. The suspects then stole the violin, valued at approximately $6 million. The taser was tracked to a purchase by a man named Universal Allah, while another trip led to Salah Jones. - 24 injured January 23, 2014 Man on Meth Attacks Driver Crashes Greyhound Bus Dozens were injured when a 25 year old Maquel Donyel Morris from Los Angeles hallucinating on meth' screaming 'I'm gonna flip this bus!' kicked open the driver door and attacked a Greyhound driver causing bus to crash in the Arizona desert. It was just before 2am near Tonopah when the bus nearly swerved across the median into oncoming traffic as passengers fought to get the attacker off the injured driver who called for help. He fled into the desert with his female companion before returning to be arrested. The girlfriend claimed he had taken meth, was 'paranoid' and 'did not want to be on the bus.'

It clipped the corner and caused the ambulance to spin and roll over, killing the patient. A paramedic in the ambulance was also injured. Zemack was summoned for vehicular homicide by negligent operation and driving to endanger. She pled guilty to negligent driving in 2015.

Monday January 13, 2014 Colorado District Closes Schools After Reports Of Possible Shooting, Bomb Threat The South Conejos School District superintendent told 11 News that over the weekend, there were rumors in the community that there could be a shooting at either the high school or elementary school, and a a bomb threat. The high school and the building housing the elementary and middle schools were closed Monday but nothing was found.

2 unrelated(?) incidents 30 minutes and 2 blocks apart: January 10, 2014 NYC cab hits and kills 9 yr old son of radiation oncologist who treated Giulani. Dr. Richard Stock cried out in horror after the cab hit young Cooper as it made a left turn. Richard suffered a leg injury, and his son were taken to St. Luke’s Hospital, where Cooper was pronounced dead. A half hour earlier just two blocks away, another 73-year-old man was killed after being dragged along the pavement by a green charter bus in a separate apparently unrelated accident two blocks away. Both the bus driver and the cab driver stayed at the scene but neither was charged.

$18K Robbery Leads to Shooting of Phoenix Police Officer, Truck Driver After robbing $18,000 from a men's club 26-year-old Roger Allen Sharp of Phoenix led police on a chase and crashed into a truck. As he was stopped , he got the officer's gun and shot the officer and the truck's driver, who were both critically injured.

- Minneapolis Apartment Building Explodes And Burns Injuring 13 January 1, 2013 An apartment building near a mosque in a Somali community in Minneapolis, Minnesota exploded into flames. 13 were hospitalized with injuries, 6 were injured critically.
- Catholic Priest Rev. Eric Freed Killed January 1, 2013 Popular Catholic priest Rev. Eric Freed was found bludgeoned to death in the rectory of his church in Eureka California. An arrest warrant was issued for Gary Lee Bullock who had been arrested and jailed and hospitalized and released due to erratic behavior before the killing.
- Man sought in connection with Jan. 1 slaying of U.S. Army Sergeant MARRERO, La. – The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office is seeking a person of interest in connection with the slaying of a U.S. Army soldier who was killed in the driveway of his in-laws’ home on January 1. U.S. Army Sergeant Joseph Anderson was shot and killed in the 6100 block of Ray Street in Marrero after dropping off his three children at his in-laws. Anderson, who survived two tours of duty in the Middle East, was shot in the head and his car was stolen.
- January 1, 2014 Gas Can Arson Attack on Chinese Consulate in San Francisco Yan Feng, 39, of Daly City drove to San Francisco in his minivan, filled three containers with gasoline bought at a station on Geary Boulevard, and parked in front of the consulate. Eldridge said Feng told the agents he placed the containers near the front entrance of the building, poured gasoline on the front door and front steps, and attempted to light a fire with his passport, but the fire did not ignite. On Friday January 3, two days after the fire, Mr. Feng called the police dispatcher and identified himself in Chinese as the person who "made the fire". He told FBI agents in an interview after his arrest that her targeted the Chinese consulate because all the voices he had been hearing were in Chinese and the Chinese consulate had to have been involved.” The FBI believes that terrorism, politics or civil rights were not involved.
