3 killed December 24, 2013 San Diego Christmas Eve Mall Parking Lot Shooting Ilona Flint died and Gianni’s 22-year-old brother Salvatore Belvedere were found shot in a car in the parking lot of the Macy’s in the Westfield Mission Valley Mall near San Diego at 1:20 a.m. Ilona was working the late shift Christmas Eve which which was open until 2 for last minute shopping and called 911 before she was found dead.  Gianni Belvedere was reported to be with his brother and his girlfriend Ilona before he himself was reported as missing. Ilona Flint also goes by the last name Gregorievna, which is common in Russia. Gianni's third body is later found in his car truck.

January 20, 2014, the green Camry belonging to Gianni Belvedere was found with a decomposing  unidentified body in the trunk a hundred miles away. Gianni Belvedere has been missing since the murder of his fiancée Ilona Flint, 22, and his little brother Salvatore, 22 at a San Diego shopping mall parking lot on Dec. 23, and he was not named a suspect in the case. Media speculates somebody wanted the three dead, perhaps for some kind of revenge for something in their background.

he suspect in the deadly parking lot shooting was described as a male wearing tan pants, between 5-foot-9 and 5-foot-11. A possible vehicle of interest in the case is a 2008 to 2011 dark gray Honda sedan. Police said they have not yet determined a motive for the shooting and have warned news outlets not to jump to conclusions about a motive. The search for a missing man continued Thursday after a shooting at a Mission Valley mall parking lot left his fiancee dead and his brother fighting for his life.
Gianni Belvedere, 24, was last seen at his family home Monday evening.
Ilona Flint and Gianni’s 22-year-old  brother Salvatore were found shot in a parked car across Macy’s in the Westfield Mission Valley Mall at 1:20 a.m. Christmas Eve.
Ilona had worked the late shift during the mall’s late hour Christmas schedule.
Police said Flint called 911 after she was shot in the head.
“She was still able to pick up the phone, dial 9-11 and tell them what to the best of her ability and try to hold out for as long as she could,” said one of her best friends Andre Briones.
By the time emergency crews arrived, she was pronounced dead.  Salvatore Belvedere was rushed to Scripps Mercy Hospital after being shot in the upper torso.  He remains in critical condition Thursday.
