January 15, 2014 Gunman Shot Dead After Killing 2 At Indiana Grocery Store 3 Dead as a gunman entered through a deli door and fired a gun up and down a Elkhart Indiana supermarket at night. He killed an employee and a shopper before the gunman was shot dead after he aimed at police officers. The gunman lived in the area, but was no apparent motive and his victims appeared to be chosen at random.
No news accounts made any reference to terrorism, or the series of terrorist-like gun attacks in 2013 at airports, military bases, schools and colleges.
