Kyle's wife, Taya ...The defamation lawsuit stems from a claim that Kyle made in his book, saying that he once hit Ventura in a bar after Ventura criticized George W. Bush and the U.S. war in Iraq. He alleged that Ventura, a former Navy SEAL, told him that America "deserved to lose a few guys."Ventura maintains that the whole incident never happened.Brian Kilmeade discussed the judge's ruling this morning with Judge Andrew Napolitano, who noted that it's very rare for a case like this to proceed after a defendant is deceased. But he said the burden is on Ventura to prove that Kyle lied about the confrontation, and also to prove that Kyle knew he was lying when he wrote the book.
