January 21, 2014 Perdue University Shooting at Electrical Engineering Building Andrew Boldt, 21 was allegedly shot and stabbed by suspect Cody Cousins who then gave himself up after police found the victim dead. The killing was about noon at the Electrical Engineering building in a basement classroom at Purdue University in Indiana. Both were teacher assistants for the same professor, but the prosecution suggested that since Cousins struggled in some classes and left Purdue at one point probably envied Boldt who was a top student. The judge sentenced Cousins to 65 years in jail. and rejected his plea of guilty but mentally ill because of Cousins' apparent pride and lack of remorse and the viciousness of the attack on Andrew Boldt. The victim was shot five times, including three times in the face, and suffered 19 cuts in front of horrified students. Although the defence argued that he suffered from mental illness, Cousins testified that he lied to doctors about hallucinations, and experts could find no evidence of illness on the day of the killings.

Sarkar wrote a blog article describing his hatred of Klug He had driven from his home in Minnesota with 2 semiautomatic guns. He shot professor Klug multiple times guns after apparently killing his ex-wife Ashley Hasti in Brooklyn Park MN whose name was found on a kill list at his home along with another professor who was unharmed. Hasti was enrolled in the University of Minnesota Medical School. They had broken up and had stopped being friends on Facebook, indicating strife. He had last worked at Endurica LLC in Ohio until he quit in August 2014 apparently to do better things.

Cody Cousins, 23, was held in the Tippecanoe County Jail without bond on suspicion of homicide .. the gunman walked into a room in the building, which is the home of the electrical engineering department, "with the intention of harming someone," then walked out after the shooting and gave himself up to a West Lafayette, Ind., police officer....police officials had prior contact with Cousins in an alcohol-related incident... Cousins and Boldt were teacher's assistants for electrical engineering courses, according to the engineering department's website. Cousins was a T.A. for Introduction to Digital System Design, a course taught by professors David G. Meyer and Cordelia Brown. Boldt was a T.A. for Microprocessor System Design and Interfacing, also taught by Meyer.
There were 3 active shooting incidents between Virginia Tech in 2007 and April 2013. There were 2 shootings in 2 days, this one and the one in Pennsylvania, not to mention a half dozen various foiled plots. Nothing to indicate a terrorist motive in any of these incidents, or that there there is anybody that would even want to be behind such chain of seemingly unconnected events.
Not to mention in one week serial arsons in San Jose, shooting in Roswell, shooting in movie theater, homeless men startin the Rim Fire, two college shootings, several bomb threats and a feed factory blowing up for no apparent reason.
