Saturday January 18, 2014 Annie Kim Pham Photobomb Murder Kim Pham was brutally beaten and kicked in the head as she stood in line outside The Crosby club and apparently angered a group of people two men and three women when she unintentionally stepped in and photobombed a group of people taking pictures. She died Tuesday after being taken off of life support. Suspects Vanesa Zavala and Candace Brito have pleaded not guilty while a third woman was named as a person of interest One witness claims Pham started swearing and delivered the first punch but her friends say Pham was attacked without provocation. On July 24, Zavala and Brito were convicted.
July 24, 2014 Kim Pham verdict: 2 women found guilty of manslaughter in death of woman outside Santa Ana, Calif. club. Vanesa Tapia Zavala, 26, and Candace Marie Brito, 27, were convicted in the death of Kim Pham, who was pronounced dead just days after a Jan. 18 fight outside the Crosby, a once-trendy nightclub. They were also found guilty of assault with force to produce great bodily injury, but not guilty of second-degree murder.
Kim Pham immigrated from Vietnam as a baby and graduated from Chapman University with a degree in psychology. She had been married for a year to a UCLA student in business school.
Alternative conspiracy theory: The photobomb complaint and false witness testimony were just a cover story for a domestic terrorist attack on a fellow American.

WESTMINSTER, Calif. (AP) — A 23-year-old woman who was beaten to death outside a Southern California nightclub was kicked in the head at least twice, according to witnesses, after she fell to the ground as she scuffled with another woman.....
Just who started the fight that led to Annie Hung Kim Pham's death was in dispute...... A witness told authorities the fight began after Pham started swearing at a group of people she and her friends had bumped into outside a club and that Pham threw the first punch. Pham's friends say three women in the other group attacked Pham without provocation.
