January 16, 2014 Utah Police Officer Joshua Boren Kills Family, Then Himself After police checked out his home after he failed to report to work, they found that Utah Police Officer Joshua Boren had killed his wife, their two children, and his mother-in-law before killing himself. Boren had been going through marital problems, but showed no outward signs of trouble.
