KIRO 7 Eyewitness News a 68-year-old woman crashed her new jeep into a home and into Lake Sammamish Friday night, was booked into jail for investigation of one count vehicular homicide and two counts vehicular assault. The woman placed her 3 year old grandson in her lap as she was reparking the car, put it into gear and it suddenly drove through the house, killing the woman’s husband / partner and injured her daughter and son-in-law who were the parents of the 3 yr old child. Authorities believed the driver might have been impaired

Thursday May 15, 2014 2 stabbed to death, 1 injured, 1 arrested James Watts botched bank robbery stabs 3 women, 2 to death In St. Louis former convict and registered sex offender James Watts, 29 was charged Friday with a federal weapons count linked to a botched southern Illinois bank holdup. At bank closing, the gunman confronted the three victims, and forced the women back inside but, because the bank was closed, got no money from it, The suspect placed the victims' purses into a victim's SUV and fled. Two women stabbed to death and a third critically injured by a knife were found in a break room by police. The dead have been identified as 52-year-olds Anita J. Grace and Nita Jo Smith. After a 100 mph chase, Watts was arrested on an Ohio River train trestle with a semi-automatic pistol in his hooded sweatshirt.Watts had been sentenced to seven years in Illinois prison after pleading guilty in 2003 to felony charges that he sexually abused a child who was 11 years old. (This was an attack, not a robbery)

Grace of Illinois' Olive Branch and Nita Jo Smith of Wickliffe, Kentucky. The survivor, 23, was in critical condition and would not be identified, police said. Watts had been sentenced to seven years in Illinois prison after pleading guilty in 2003 to felony charges that he sexually abused a child who was 11 years old.

Last fall, Seattle police were called to the Union Gospel Mission after an elderly man shot another man. Roger Mize, 82, was arrested Oct. 30 after Darren “Jerome” Nelson, 45, was shot twice just before noon as both men were lining up in the Pioneer Square mission for lunch, according to Seattle police....they apparently began arguing over money, shelter staff and police said...shooting was believed to be the first ever at the mission, which is more than 80 years old....Police determined that Mize was acting in self-defense.Man stabs another over place in lunch line. : SeattlePD
