She was driving on the wrong side of the road and had been involved in a hit and run prior to their accident. It happened in Adams Run which means it was on a two lane highway surrounded by trees, poor lighting, and the ability to change directions with a u-turn. I can see where someone not familiar with the area and not paying attention or drunk could make the mistake of driving the wrong way, especially if they made a left hand turn onto Hwy 17 and thought they were in the correct lane/direction.
