Islamist militants are believed to have attacked a gas pipeline in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula late tonight. From AFP:
Suspected militants in Egypt's Sinai on Tuesday blew up a gas pipeline that feeds an industrial area in the restive peninsula, security officials said.

The officials said there were no injuries from the blast that targeted the domestic pipeline."[S]ecurity forces are scanning the area to investigate the cause of the blast," Reuters reported.
Since July 3, there have been more than 260 reported attacks in the Sinai Peninsula, most of which were carried out against Egyptian security forces and assets, according to data maintained by The Long War Journal. Gas pipelines appear to have been attacked only once during that time, on July 7
