St Paul Hit-Run Kills Tracy Klotz

November 1, 2013 53 yr old Tracy Klotz was killed by a hit-and-run driver Friday night in St Paul as she was stepping out of vehicle. No braking noises were heard. Police are looking for a silver, smaller-SUV model Lexus missing a the passenger-side mirror cover found at the scene. Witness told the Pioneer Press  "Who hits somebody and just keeps going?' Usually when that happens, you hear brakes or a little screech, tires or something, but there was nothing." Another said "It may have been an accident, but we'd really like to see that person come forward."

October 24, 2013  In St. Paul, a 69-year-old widow and her 72-year-old sister Summit-University house stayed up until 3 a.m. on  Oct. 24 when according to the Pioneer Press, " bullets flew over their heads, crashed through windows, pierced lampshades, cracked into the plaster and smashed a television set." 9mm and .40-caliber bullets had been fired at the house. A grandson of her sister had been involved in a fight in a bar which could be a connection to the trouble. Also a family friend, Leonard Allen Christian Sr., 56, was shot in his home in the 1000 block of Central Avenue about 3 a.m. March 30, 2012. The grandson used the address in some government records, including previous incidents when he was arrested by police.

    Jeff Lyman, a friend of Klotz's for 40 years, retrieved the message after the 53-year-old woman was killed by a hit-and-run driver Friday night in St. Paul.
