David Horowitz: Iran Deal Worse Than Munich

The U.S.-Iran deal on nuclear weapons is far more disastrous than the 1938 Munich Agreement, which permitted Nazi Germany's annexation of portions of Czechoslovakia, says David Horowitz, president of the David Horowitz Freedom Center.

"It is catastrophic. It's worse than Munich because after [British Prime Minister Neville] Chamberlain sold the Czechs down the river to [Adolf] Hitler, although they suffered and many of them died, they weren't obliterated," Horowitz told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.

Imagine if Chamberlain had returned from groveling before Hitler and said that he also gave them a billion dollars to help them build their war machine.

Imagine if F.D.R. came back from Yalta and announced that he gave Stalin $5 billion dollars to help them build their war machine and even opened the way for them to conquer E. Europe - don't have to imagine it, he did just that.

The United States released $8 billion in frozen assets to Iran on Sunday in a move meant to ensure Tehran's compliance with a nuclear agreement signed over the weekend, say top Iranian officials, the Washington Free Beacon reported Monday.  Iranian government spokesman Mohammad Baqer Nobakht confirmed Monday that the U.S. government freed $8 billion in assets that had been blocked by the Obama administration. In addition, Iran will get about $7 billion in sanctions relief, gold, and oil sales under the nuclear deal that was signed in Geneva with Western nations over the weekend. more


Over the next six months, Iran will see "the full removal of all [United Nations] Security Council, unilateral and multilateral sanctions, while the country's enrichment program will be maintained," Zarif said, adding that the Fordo and Natanz nuclear sites will continue to run. 

"None of the enrichment centers will be closed, and Fordo and Natanz will continue their work, and the Arak heavy water [nuclear reactor] program will continue in its present form, and no material [enriched uranium stockpiles] will be taken out of the country, and all the enriched materials will remain inside the country," Zarif said. "The current sanctions will move towards decrease, no sanctions will be imposed and Iran's financial resources will return."

The United States recognized Iran's right to enrich uranium up to 5 percent under the deal, say both the Iranians and a White House brief on the accord.

Iran can buy a lot of weaponry for 8 billion and continue with their their enrichment program. So, if this was a DEAL, what did the U.S. government get out of it? Nothing as far as I can tell. We've been "Kerryed" to the bus and await being thrown under it by oBAMa or perhaps blown under it by Iran.

I realize Obama and Kerry are Islamist sympathizers -- as evidenced by their limp appendage treatment of anything that smacks of terrorism and their rage at anyone (like conservatives and Israel and most Christians) who vehemently oppose their suck up attitude to radical islam. Be that as it may, it's tax payer dollars they are spending on a nation who hates us, wants us killed, and has NEVER performed a single contractual obligation. Congress holds the public purse -- that's bad enough as they can't count either -- but giving Obama a check book means you might as well give him a nuke to wrap for Tehran for Ramadan to use against Israel and the U.S. This may not be treason, but it sure smacks of high crimes and misdemeanors -- why is no one proceeding with impeachment with this man? The scandals are uncountable and Benghazi may be the worst as it is the most deeply concealed secret scandal thus far. What is wrong with you Congress? I understand that Reid is Obama's slave but do we really have an entire set of democrat senators who are willing to let Obama and Reid, along with John Kerry -- who made his hatred for America plain 40 years ago -- ruin this nation.
