    September 4, 2013 killing  aug 5 pleading  Man Sentenced to 20 Years for San Mateo Robbery Turned Deadly Patch Edwin Lee, 23, of Daly City pleaded no contest Aug. 5 to burglary and home invasion robbery in exchange for the sentence.  avoided a murder charge for the death of an accomplice when the robbery he was involved in turned into a shootout in a home on Sept. 4, 2013. Prosecutors said Lee, along with 24-year-old Bunn Vo and 23-year-old Bryant Ma, entered a home demanded money from a safe. 
    The victim, who was held at gunpoint, pulled a gun on the men. A shootout ensued that left Lee, Ma and the robbery victim injured.  Lee and Vo can be prosecuted for murder for creating the dangerous situation that led to the death of their accomplice.
