September 29, 2015 Oakland Artist Antonio Ramos Painting Non-Violence Mural Killed in Broad Daylight After Argument With Passerby 1 killed, suspect sought. In West Oakland, California, artist Antonio Ramos, 27 was working on an anti-violence mural when a passerby provoked an argument which turned into an apparent random shooting in broad daylight. The suspect killed his target and ran away. Officials say there is nothing to indicate the subject matter in the mural, called the Oakland Super Heroes Mural Project, sparked the violence. After his arrest, Holloway confessed to detectives that he shot Ramos in the stomach, but claimed it was an accident. Marquise Holloway, 20, of Oakland was arrested Friday Nov 20 on suspicion of second-degree robbery and murder. It was determined he used a gun stolen from a federal agent, just like Kathryn Steinle was shot at a San Franciso pier earlier in the year. Police believe his ridiculous cover story that he wanted to steal the artist camera rather than commit an assassination which makes more sense. He cursed at the judge and had to be dragged out and his supporters broke a glass case as they stormed out of the courtroom.  Holloway's family said they arrested and got a confession from the wrong man and he was innocent in two robberies, including one he’s accused of earlier in the day of Ramos’ murder and another on Oct. 5. Holloway had a prior conviction for robbery in 2012 (RT) (Breitbart) Sister: “He’s a good guy,” his sister, 21-year-old Yemas McGee, told reporters outside of court this morning. “I don’t get why he’s accused of all this bad stuff.”

Alternative conspiracy theory: this was a terrorist attack against peace activism staged as botched robbery. This has to be connected to the other looks-like-but-isn't-terrorist shooting in San Francisco pier, also with a weapon stolen from a federal agent in the same region. Shooting of Kathryn Steinle by Undocumented Terrorist

San Francisco resident, Sean Gibson, was arrested on Oct. 21 and charged with the burglary of gun used.  Investigators have not said how they think the gun made its way from Gibson to Holloway. Holloway’s family says that he is innocent of both the murder and the robberies, including one he’s accused of earlier in the day of Ramos’ murder and another on Oct. 5. Holloway had a prior conviction for robbery in 2012, according to prosecutors.

At about 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 29, Ramos took a break from painting and stepped back to take a picture of the in-progress mural. As he was taking pictures, Holloway allegedly came by and noticed his camera. The two got into a confrontation that ended with Holloway allegedly shooting Ramos, police said. Holloway remains in custody without bail and was ordered to return to court on Jan. 4.
