April 6, 2013 Kou Thao fatally shot and dismembers Tong Pao in WI In Milwaukee, police investigated a missing person, and were told that Kou Thao, a homeless man had murdered a man and taken the body to Milwaukee. Thao, who lives in Wasau,  Wisconsin was arrested at a Milwaukee home on April 6. The dismembered body of Ton Pao Hang, 58 of St. Paul was found 13 days later  A motive in the killing was unclear.

April 15, 2013  Boston Marathon Bombings During the Boston Marathon, two pressure cooker bombs exploded at 2:49 pm EDT killing 3 people and injuring an estimated 264 others.

Rifle Shoots Silicon Valley Substation and Fiber Optic Cable Cut April 17, 2013 At 1:46 a.m gunshots were heard when a high powered rifle was used to damage a Silicon Valley power substation in what was treated as an act of vandalism. Just a quarter hour before, fiber optic cables belonging to AT&T about a half-mile away were cut in what officials believe was a related incident.

April 16, 2013, Randolph Linn, 52, of St. Joe, Indiana was sentenced to 20 years in prison and ordered to pay $1.4 million. September 30. 2012 Randy T. Linn Toledo Mosque Arson Randy T. Linn admitted setting fire to an Ohio mosque because he wanted revenge for the killings of American troops overseas. He drove from his Indiana home to the suburban Toledo mosque and burned a prayer rug, causing extensive damage in the building.

April 26, 2013 Evans City Bus Driver Stops On Train Tracks, Killing 2 In Evans City Pennsylvania, a 12 seat Butler Area Rural Transit bus which provided transportation for people with disabilities suddenly stopped on the tracks for no reason at a crossing. It was struck by a train which tried to stop in the fog and struck the bus. A video shows the passengers warning the driver of an oncoming train and bracing for the collision. Two elderly persons later died of their injuries. Bus driver, 59-year old Frank Schaeffner faced charges including vehicular homicide and manslaughter. Police reported that Schaffner never slowed down, and never looked as he crossed the railroad tracks. He turned himself into police May 9th and was out of jail on $15,000 secured bond and was not seeking a plea deal.

France Apartment Explosion April 2013 Sunday, April 28, 2013.  At least three people were killed and 14 others injured in a huge explosion in Reims France. blast destroyed 10 apartments in the four-story building  "We don't know the cause of the explosion. It was probably due to gas," Reims mayor Adeline Hazan said at the scene This is the second explosion in Reims in the past month.Another gas explosion hit Prague
