  25. oct 2025 Bomb threats spike across Ohio schools Cincinnati.com  As another wave of bomb threats target schools across Ohio, at least one security expert believes schools are being evacuated too often. In fact, automatically evacuating schools gives power to the person making the threat. That person often wants to see their actions cause disruptions,  past month, the Ohio Department of Homeland Security has sounded the alarm three times on widespread bomb threats affecting multiple schools across the state. Last Tuesday, several schools reported bomb threats, including Cincinnati, Fairfield, Forest Hills, Kenton County, Lebanon, Middletown and Mansfield. Homeland security officials notified Ohio Department of Education staff and FBI agents of the threats. The same problem occurred Oct. 7 and Sept. 25, homeland security spokesman Dustyn Fox said.

They broke into churches stealing collection boxes, crosses and other objects “dedicated to church services and religious veneration” prosecutors allege. They also stole laptops, money and a cash card from schools  which they used to finance jihadist fighters in the Syrian civil war, alleged chief prosecutor Nadja Gudermann. Three of the men were charged with supporting a foreign terrorist organisation. The gang was lead by a Moroccan who also uploaded a video to YouTube encouraging Muslims to fight for Isis, officials allege the Moroccan travelled to Syria where he was trained in a military terrorist camp.
