The previous year October 28, 2013, Shaffa had been charged criminal attempted murder, assault on a public servant and resisting arrest. after he allegedly threw his previous wife Mariza off a third floor balcony. She suffered serious injuries lying on the gravel after a verbal and physical altercation. While taken into custody, he pulled away from officers, attempted to fight off the police and struck an officer in the face.

Eloy Police arrested Shaffa and he is being held on a murder warrant in El Paso. Monica Chavira Laws are so technical and really put others at risk. If he threw his wife over a balcony he did it with the intention of killing her. That is attempted murder. Thanks to these naive laws, we have a woman murdered he should have done enough time in jail... this is such a crappy system on how to handle criminals.

Rubi Ramirez Y was he released for attempted murder after pushing his wife off the third floor balcony at the Citadel Apts??? How is Mrs Mariza Shaffa doing?? U all never did talk about her status... Unbelievable that he was given a bond after hurting his wife and now murdering this young woman.. Smh he didn't deserve a bond he deserved the electric chair!!!!!!
