Updated: April 6, 11:24 a.m. A road rage incident Brett Penny, 48, of Hampton Bays and Michael Doroski, 25, of Wading River were both headed eastbound on Sound Avenue Penny stopped his vehicle, just east of Fresh Pond Avenue, blocking the lane of travel; he then exited the vehicle and Doroski, who had been following behind him in a pickup truck, police said. That’s when the altercation became physically violent, police said. Doroski allegedly stabbed Penny with a folding knife in the upper torso, according to police.
