Thirty-five-year-old Faiz Ikramulla was charged Thursday with aggravated kidnapping, jailed Michigan, pending extradition proceedings. He had been released on bond awaiting trial in June in connection with a May 2014 had previously been pulled over for driving suspiciously and then led police on a chase which ended when police had to put his car in a spin, and he kept ramming police cars shouting "God is Great" in Arabic with multiple illegal license plates and drivers licenses and a passport with a half dozen global destinations favored by terrorists. Father was found by Michigan State Police standing on the overpass of I-94, appeared to be disoriented and distraught.

Arrested May 19, 2014 Faiz Abul Ikramulla Holy War on Portage Indiana Police Suspect was pulled over for urinating in a yard and following other drivers, injured 2 cops and rammed 4 police cars and pulled out probes after police were forced to use multiple tasers on him. He was shouting "God is Great" in Arabic as they dragged him out the the police car. He had an Indiana plate, but had another illegal Wisconsin plate and drivers licenses from two states, and was found with a passport showing he had been to Saudi Arabia, China, Romania, Germany and Amsterdam. He was interviewed by the FBI which evidently did not establish any reason to suspect terrorist connections. Judge released him on $20,000 bond on condition he get a mental evaluation, trial delayed to June 2015 after December and February dates.

A 911 call came in around 7 a.m. Wednesday reporting a possibly suicidal man on the expressway, said Michigan State Police Sgt. Richard Dragomer. Police responded and found an abandoned car that belonged to Ikramulla, Dragomer said."A trooper found him standing on the overpass of I-94," Dragomer said. "He appeared to be disoriented and distraught."Police said they were able to take him into custody without incident.The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services was investigating the alleged kidnapping, and the girl was placed with relatives
