The city's fire department, along with police detectives and the bomb squad were investigating to make sure it wasn't caused by a crime. No exploding food truck ever makes the headlines, unlike the recent rash of explosions of pipelines, houses, restaurants and government buildings so this looks pretty fishy.

He was drunk and possibly on cocaine after a night at a drive in movie with girlfriend Della Svenningsen. She got out of the driver seat after Ward demanded she sit in back, and drove off with their two children, crashed the van and abandoned the two seriously injured children.

- June 30, 2014 White supremacist charged in Vancouver cop shooting KOIN.com James Sapp alleged role in the shooting of a Vancouver WA cop. Sapp was linked to white supremacists and admitted trading heroin before shooting. Officer Dustin Goudschaal was hit seven times by a semi-automatic handgun. Sapp was allegedly driving a black Dodge truck, with plates stolen from a Jeep Cherokee, when he was pulled over by Goudschaal. The officer was approaching the driver’s door when the driver leaned out the window and shot him. Sapp fled, crashed his truck, ran through a yard, stole another truck after assaulting an elderly man and also crashed this truck.
