  11. July 17, 2014  Russian hackers placed 'digital bomb' in Nasdaq in 2010 CNNMoney Russian hackers managed to slip a "digital bomb" into the Nasdaq -- one with the potential to sabotage the stock market's computers and wreak havoc on the U.S.  an investigative report by Bloomberg Businessweek, which revealed the details of a 2010 cybergrenade that never detonated. Hackers broke into Nasdaq's network four years ago with custom-made malware that had the potential to spy and steal data. But it could also cause digital destruction, potentially disrupting Nasdaq's computer system. It's still unclear who the attackers were. A federal official briefed on the investigation said the FBI has not developed enough evidence to conclude a foreign government [they were Russian and NOT the govt???] was responsible behind the hack

Malaysia Flight MH17 Shot down

  1. July 17, 2014  Intercepted phone calls purportedly between Russian military intelligence officers and members of a pro-Russian separatist group appear to capture the moment the rebels realized the plane they shot down was a civilian passenger plane, could be the smoking gun that helps prove Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 was shot down over Ukraine by the insurgents.
  2. Daily Mail: Footage Emerges of Smuggled BUK Missile Launcher Missing 2 Rockets
  3. Kyiv Post: Separatists Admit Downing Civilian Plane in Intercepted Phone Call
  4. Malaysia Airlines: 80 Children killed  Hollywood Life The horrific incident killed all of the plane's passengers, including an entire Indonesian family and three Australian siblings who were on their way home, accompanied only by their grandfather.
  5. July 17, 2014 Veterans Today blames Israel F-15 for MH-17 777 shootdown  It is reasonable to suggest that an Israeli plane was involved because we know they have the only clandestine capability within the region...we assume these as high probability: An aircraft was used, most likely an American built F-15 because of range and capability. Azerbaijan was used because we know of clandestine bases there, which were confirmed by military officers who defected to Iran in 2013. We know Israel has some role, yet undefined, because they are spreading stories blaming Russia. As this is a second Malaysian Airlines plane to go down, we look for false stories regarding Israel and Malaysian planes
  6. Oriental Review blames Ukraine Buk shot down the plane a battery of Buk antiaircraft missile systems of the Ukrainian Armed Forces was deployed near Donetsk. At present, another battery of the same missile systems is being loaded in Kharkiv. The aircraft flying at the altitude of more than 10 thousand meters might be hit only with weapons like S-300 or Buk. The militias don’t have such weapons, and cannot afford them. Russian military expert Igor Korotchenko argues that the catastrophe in Donetsk was most likely caused by the incompetence and non-professionalism of the Ukrainian operators of the Buk systems during its testing after the battery was deployed in the new location.
  7. Ukraine Rebels Stole Same Type Of Missiles That May Have Taken Down MH17 The Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile defense regiment A-1402 was overran and looted by pro-Russian forces on June 29th. This unit operated the SA-11/17 "Buk" medium-range mobile air defense system, an advanced cousin of the SA-6, that is thought to have been used in the MH17 attack.
  8. Could Russian Or Pro-Russian Forces Have Shot Down MH17? People are suggesting it could have been shot down either by Russia's built-up air defense apparatus along its border with Ukraine or by pro-Russian separatists with a mobile radar-guided SAM systems. Within the last few days, two other Ukrainian aircraft have been shot down in similar fashion and just hours ago, a Su-25 "Frogfoot" close air support aircraft flown by the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down over Eastern Ukraine by what was surmised to have been a radar-guided surface-to-air missile. The pilot ejected safely. Ukraine says Russia shot down one of their Antonov An-26 which was executing "anti-terror operations" Eight people all bailed out in the the third loss of such an aircraft for Ukraine to hostile fire, as Ukraine claims that Russia intercepted the twin-turboprop with fighter aircraft.
