That's all it took for Kenny Bartley to be arrested after being released from prison for the 2005 Campbell County High shooting that left assistant principal Ken Bruce dead. The now 22-year-old Bartley was recently arrested for allegedly making violent threats against his father over a set of car keys. When police arrived Bartley allegedly head butted one of the cops and had to be subdued/TASERed. Bartley was said to be under the influence. Gee, who thought a violent drugged out kid would be a violent drugged out adult, allegedly.

Saturday June 28th, 2014 Chief of Police Shannon Boerner was notified of significant vandalism to our secondary patrol vehicle. It is a 2007 Crown Victoria, white in color with police markings. It was parked at the city maintenance shop, situated between South Street and Eugene Street, north of the ball diamond. When officers arrived to look at the vehicle it was discovered that both driver’s side tires were slashed, along with the rear passenger side tire. It also appeared that the trunk had been damaged, during an attempt to gain access to the trunk area.

COMPTON - The driver of a Scion Tc lost control of his car and crashed into the Chrisma Christian Fellowship Church Sunday night in Compton. The accident occurred around 7:00 PM at 2605 W. Compton Blvd. Two victims were transported to Harbor UCLA Medical Center by Compton Fire paramedics. Both victims had to be extricated from the vehicle. Unconfirmed reports indicate that a female passenger of the vehicle died en route to the hospital.
