1 killed 3 injured, suspect arrested June 5, 2014 2014 Seattle Pacific University Shooting Police responded to a shooting on Seattle Pacific University in which at least four people were shot. At least two people suffered from life threatening injuries. Freshman Paul Lee, Korean American 19 from Portland died in the hospital. The 26 year old gunman Aaron Ybarra who was not a student walked into SPU’s Otto Miller Hall armed with a shotgun and a handgun and shot three people in the foyer with the shotgun. As the gunman was reloading, a student building monitor Jon Meis pepper sprayed and tackled the gunman and other students then jumped him, and restrained him until police arrived. Ybarra has confessed to the attack, and had an obsession with Columbine and mass murderers. He claimed to hear voices from the Columbine attackers, and turned himself into 911 and an emergency room making terrorist threats, and had received treatment for alcoholism and various mental health issues.
Seattle Pacific University is a Methodist liberal arts college about 4 miles north of Seattle's downtown, with about 4,000 students enrolled. The college website said students are subject to disciplinary action for such behavior as extramarital sex or homosexual activity and for the possession or use of alcohol.
Similar incidents: “Friends, we have been here before: Café Racer, the shootings on Capitol Hill, the shootings at the Jewish Federation,” Murray said.

*Conspiracy Theory (Disinformation)
Counter Conspiracy theory: The shooting was not thought to connected to the Isla Vista Massacre which used hatred of women as a cover story for the true motive. Are there Americans who would commit acts of mass killing in an act of warfare as a traitor against the US? Have any Americans acted as traitors to kill fellow Americans or commit acts of terrorism by travelling to Syria or Somalia, or Russia to train to set off bombs at the Boston Marathon, or hate the government enough to blow up a government building in Oklahoma City or be an Imam for the 9/11 attackers targeted by American drones, or attack Fort Hood on behalf of the Taliban, or attack recuiters in Little Rock Arkansas? Or do they only do this because of mental instability?

Accused Seattle Pacific University shooter: Heard voices of Satan, God on day of shooting SEATTLE -- Aaron Ybarra, accused in the shooting at Seattle Pacific University in June 2014, testified Monday that he heard voices in his head on the day of the crime. Ybarra said he heard Satan, God and Eric Harris, one of two students who took part in a shooting in Columbine High School in 1999. The shooting killed 12 students. Ybarra's attorney has not disputed that he took part in the shooting but has argued that he was too mentally ill to know right from wrong. He has pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity. He walked onto campus with a shotgun and a hunting knife. He shot and killed 19-year-old Paul Lee and injured other students. The shooting ended when a school safety monitor tackled the gunman, doused him with pepper spray and disarmed him. Guns in the media and the SPU shooting
by Trench Reynolds July 17, 2014
The headline from the article is "SPU shooting suspect once had AK-47, 7 other firearms at home". The article constantly mentions that Ybarra's family owned the guns but not him. The article also goes on to state that the guns in question were stolen from the home and none of the guns mentioned were the one that Ybarra used when he killed SPU student Paul Lee.
The article also obsesses over the fact that one of the guns owned by the Ybarra family was an AK-47. I don't know why the AK-47 keeps getting demonized just because it's one of the most mass-produced guns in the entire world. It's the Toyota Camry of guns. It is no more or less deadly than any other gun but for some reason the media has this obsession over the AK-47.
What really gets me is that while the article obsesses over guns that had no part whatsoever in the SPU shooting it totally buries the lede in the article.
Aaron Ybarra and his family members kept eight firearms in a safe at their Mountlake Terrace home, even though Ybarra had been hospitalized in 2010 after hearing the voice of Columbine killer Eric Harris telling him to hurt people, documents say.

terrorists sometimes use disinformation to distract conspiracy theory fans away from who is really behind the attack and blame victim governments. This can be used to theorize which groups are promoting these theories and for what purpose.
nodisinfo.com: Absolute Proof the Seattle School Shooting is a Hoax "Like all Zionist-orchestrated drills there is the villain as well as the person of the hour, the hero. There are also the wounded and the deceased, though all fake.
The phony hero in this case is named Jon Meiss. Despite his life being in danger he did the untenable; he attacked the gunman, tackling him while spraying him with pepper spray. Didn’t he get some of that spray in his own face? He is not only a hero but is also “heroic:”"

It is pretty clear Mr. Ybarra is Mexican or some other shade of Latino. I suppose there is also a very small chance he comes from Spain and could be considered white.
His mother’s name is Janice Eileen Hipol. It first glance this could mean a white mother but further research shows the surname Hipol is probably a shortened version of Hipolito which is a common Filipino surname. And indeed Aaron’s grandfather on his mother’s side was named Sinforniano Hipol, almost certainly a Filipino. Aaron’s grandmother on his mother’s side was Marion Erlwein and was almost certainly white.
So we have a mixed race shooter. I suppose given that both Mexicans and Filipinos are mixed race in that they normally have some percentage of European DNA, and given that Aaron is at least 25% white, that it is not an exaggeration to call him half white. The other way to look at it is he is 50% Mexican, 25% Filipino, and 25% White.
- Mexican is not a racial category. And mestizo is not an irreducable one since it is approximately 50% indian 50% white.
- Both parents couldn’t be Filipino? An old-fashioned Spanish name like Ambrosio often goes with a Filipino (like Sinforniano).
Suspect in Seattle Pacific killing had well-documented demons
The suspect in the Seattle Pacific University shooting has battled for years with mental-health issues and alcohol, according to court and police records and a counselor, and he reported hearing the voice of one of the Columbine killers in his head, “telling him to hurt people.” October 2010, records show. About this time he was attending Edmonds Community College and working at a gun range. That month, he drunkenly called 911, telling dispatchers “he was suicidal and had a rage inside him.”
“Voices scared him”
Later that month, Ybarra confided his dark fantasies to a counselor about the 1999 massacre at Columbine High School in Colorado.
Ybarra said then he “feels he identifies with one of the Columbine killers, whom he identified as Eric Harris,” counselor Deldene J. Garner wrote later in a chemical dependency assessment filed in Edmonds Municipal Court.
July 2012, Edmonds police arrested him on the drunken driving incident, recording his blood-alcohol level at .18 — more than twice the legal limit. There were other problems at home.
Praise rained down on Jon Meis after the 22-year-old Seattle Pacific University student bravely halted Thursday’s shooting at the school, but the hero and his family sought privacy and asked for attention to be directed at the families of the shooting victims.
Suspect ‘did not expect to be alive at the end of yesterday’
At Seattle police headquarters Thursday, the alleged gunman who terrorized the Seattle Pacific University campus offered investigators one simple motive: “to kill as many people as possible before committing suicide,” according to a court filing.
Ybarra has symptoms of high-N personality

Some more background about Aaron Ybarra. In addition to some past incidents where he acted somewhat crazy, there is this:
Ybarra underwent a year of alcohol-abuse treatment ending in December 2013. His counselor reported at the end of the year that Ybarra was separately being treated for depression, mental-health issues, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder.
Depression and anxiety are common symptoms of a high Neuroticism personality. And OCD is an anxiety-related disorder. Despite his mental health issues, the people who knew him who were interviewed didn’t notice anything wrong with him at all.
Commenters:
He doesn’t look white.

The one person killed so far was an Asian male, Paul Lee.
Elliot Rodgers also killed mostly Asian males (three out of five victims).
Coincidence?
New details emerging about the build-up to the attack indicate Ybarra had long struggled with substance abuse and mental health issues, although the former community college student, his friends said, had seemed to be turning his life around. He was twice evaluated by psychiatrists, but was found “not detainable” after his mother refused to have him admitted.
Ybarra had in 2010 called 911 in a drunken stupor, telling a dispatcher that he had a “rage inside” and wanted to commit suicide. “He wanted to hurt himself and others,” according to a Mountlake Terrace police report. In 2012, police found him drunk in the street where Ybarra said he hoped a “SWAT team would make him famous.”
In 2011, Ybarra took himself to an emergency room, telling staff that he got scared after hearing the voice of Columbine High School shooter Eric Harris in his head, telling him to hurt people. He was not detained.
He “feels he identifies with one of the Columbine killers, whom he identified as Eric Harris,” counselor Deldene J. Garner wrote later in a chemical dependency assessment filed in Edmonds Municipal Court, according to the Seattle Times.
The shooting was the second in a short span on the West Coast, coming only days after college student Elliot Rodger stabbed to death three people in his apartment before going on a drive-by shooting rampage near the University of California’s Santa Barbara campus, killing three more college students before shooting himself.
allow me to extend my prayers and condolences to the friends and family of 19-year-old Paul Lee. Mr. Lee was the lone fatality in the shootings.
Getting back to the suspect, Aaron Ybarra, most reports are stating that Ybarra had severe mental issues and substance abuse issues. In 2010 he supposedly told police that he had a rage inside and wanted to kill himself and as many people as possible. In 2011 he went to the ER saying he was hearing the voice of Columbine coward Eric Harris urging him to commit violence. No word on if he wanted to have Dylan Klebold’s ghost babies. In 2012 he is reported to have said that he wanted SWAT to make him famous. So he is a mutant (Columbine fanboy) and this is more than likely a copycat shooting but the question is was he a mutant before or after he started having mental issues? Personally I think you have to have mental issues if you admire two cowards like that.
Speaking of the two cowards it seems that Ybarra may have had similar parenting…
He was twice evaluated by psychiatrists, but was found “not detainable” after his mother refused to have him admitted.
...not a question about guns but of mental health. Where do we draw the line when someone’s mental health issues make them a danger to society against their right to freedom? Although I am curious where he got the gun from.
Ybarra is also said to be saying that he’s sorry about the shootings....I pray that the he is not successful in taking his own life. His death would only make him a martyr to the Columbiners of the world.
