WSJ: A former Navy SEAL, Mr. Kyle served four tours in Iraq, where he survived six explosive device attacks, three gunshot wounds and two helicopter crashes, according to court documents. He’s credited with more than 150 “confirmed kills” and gained notoriety among insurgents to the point where they put an $80,000 bounty on his head, court papers said. After he was honorably discharged in 2009, he shot to fame when his 2012 autobiography “American Sniper” became a bestseller. Mr. Kyle was killed on Feb. 2, 2013, at a shooting range near Fort Worth. A Dallas newspaper reported in December that fellow Iraq War veteran Eddie Routh will stand trial for his murder. (but nobody has speculated who Routh was really working for)
