anuel Joyner was arrested Saturday at his home in Bowie and charged in relation to an incident at a movie theater in Largo on May 24, Prince George's County fire officials said. The theater was evacuated after someone used a device described as a "bottle bomb," in which baking soda and vinegar or other materials are placed inside a plastic bottle, causing it to explode. Joyner is also suspected in several similar incidents, fire officials said. On May 18, a multiplex was evacuated in Tysons Corner, Virginia, after two bottle explosions occurred. Police said acid and metal had been placed inside the bottles. wjla

FBI spokesman Peter Lee said Ryan Kelly Chamberlain II, 42, of San Francisco, was last seenSunday. The agency said Chamberlain is considered armed and dangerous. He is believed to be traveling in a white 2008 Nissan Altima with Texas license plates. Police and federal agents spent 14 hours searching Chamberlain's apartment in San Francisco's Russian Hill neighborhood Saturday. "There were people all over the building in hazmat suits," said Jessica Schlenoff, who lives across the street from Chamberlain's building. She said police on the scene told her they exploded some devices.

Norfolk Drive-By Shooting Spree Kills High School Grad, Policeman In Norfolk, Virginia suspect James Brown 29 started shooting at cars as he drove through Norfolk. He killed a 17-year-old Mark Rodriguez in his car on his way home from a Christian high school graduation celebration where he was a worship choir leader. Brown's Jeep returned to his home where it was left idling with music blaring spotted near his home where he shot at 2 and killed one of the police officers from his home. Brown attempted to flee the area, hitting many passing cars, but was stopped after crashing into another car. Brown was shot as he struggled and tried to take the gun from an officer who was attempting to arrest him.

*3 June 1, 2014 Syrian Jihad Connections in Brussels Jewish Museum Shooting Arrest In Paris, French authorities arrested a man in the killing of three people last month at the Jewish Museum in Brussels. The suspect was Mehdi Nemmouche who was caught during a routine customs when he was found with an assault rifle and revolver matching descriptions of those used in the assault. The suspect is a 29-year-old Frenchman with a long criminal history arrested for driving without a licence and violent robbery, and serving jail many times since 2001 where he became a radicalized jihadist during his last five-year stay. He had traveled to Syria last year to join with radical Islamist fighters there. French and Belgian officials found evidence linking Mr. Nemmouche to the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, or I.S.I.S., a jihadist group operating in Syria that until earlier this year maintained ties to Al Qaeda.

A suspect in a double homicide on Friday in Merced County was killed a few hours later in a shooting involving Merced County sheriff's deputies and Turlock police, officials have confirmed... second involving Merced law enforcement in just over a month. Merced police officers shot and killed a robbery suspect April 26. Friday’s incident marked the second homicide case of the year in the Stevinson area.
Casey DeSalles, 37 was found dead Feb. 26 at his home in the 19000 block of Sixth Avenue in a case investigators believe was drug-related. Two people were arrested in connection with DeSalles’ death a month later and are presently in custody awaiting further appearances in Merced County Superior Court.
