Oct. 17, 2012 Three men accused of stabbing and killing five people inside a Denver bar in October 2012 left the bar with only $170, and then burned down the bar to cover up the killings. 2 brothers pled guilty to the killings. The victims were the bar's owner, korean Young Suk Fero, Daria M. Pohl, 21, of Denver; Kellene Fallon, 44, of Denver; Ross Richter, 29, of Overland Park, Kan.; and Tereasa Beesley, 45, of Denver. Owner Young Fero was Korean, the suspects are all black. Brothers Joseph Hill, 27, pled guilty to first-degree murder and will be sentenced to life in prison, while brother Lynell Hill, 25, pled guilty to murder, aggravated robbery and first-degree arson with a 70-year prison term. Dexter Lewis, 23 was accused of becoming enraged and stabbed to death four patrons and then came back for the owner. Demarea Harris was one of the 4 men, but he was secretly an informant for the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives at the time and reported the crime to his handlers hours later. He was never charged. Police established their motive/cover story was Lynell needed money to pay for a court case.

Fero's Bar massacre occurred on the 17 October 2012. The bodies of five people where found by the Denver fire department after a fire at Fero's bar and grill in Glendale Colorado a suburb of Denver. It was determined to been stabbed multiple times about 170 dollars where missing from the bar so the motive was determined to be a robbery. The arson was used to cover up the crime. In the beginning the police had no suspects but later a witness who claimed to have seen the murders in progress identified the perpetrators as Dexter Lewis, Joseph Hill and Lynell Hill. This led to their arrest and prosecution the Hill brothers pleaded guilty to all counts and where sentenced to 5 life terms and 70 years. Lewis pleaded not guilty and was tried and convicted in August 2015 and was sentenced to life without parole plus 180 years after the jury rejected the death sentence.[1]

This crime happened last October. Did you ever hear about in? Imagine if the races were reversed? This would have been the media event of the decade. It would have knocked Trayvon Martin out of the news. This crime mirrors what we are seeing in South Africa. An extremely cruel and horrific multiple killing, combined with an extremely low personal gain. The killers netted $170 by taking the victim’s personal possessions. The media likes to call this type of gruesome crime a “robbery.” Theft was an afterthought.
The Denver media continues to call the quintuple murder a “robbery,” even though police say ringleader Dexter Lewis was specifically targeting two of the female victims.
Young Fero was the owner of Fero’s Bar and Grill. She had kicked Dexter Lewis out of the bar. Lewis told a police informant that he was going to “get those bitches” immediately before the murder spree. He referenced Young Fero and said another woman inside the bar had evicted him from his apartment.
Lewis had two accomplices, Lynell Hill, 25, and Joseph Hill, 27, who both pleaded guilty last week. They will testify against Lewis as part of a plea deal
