On August 9, 2013, a twin-engine Rockwell International Turbo Commander 690B, operated by former Microsoft executive Bill Henningsgaard and his son Maxwell Henningsgaard crashed into residential homes in East Haven, Connecticut while on approach to Tweed New Haven Regional Airport, setting ablaze and destroying two of them. The two people aboard were both killed, along with 2 children on the ground.[2]
