1 attempted security breach March 6, 2015 Rishi Chatterjee Malakar Arrested Trying To Enter Oak Ridge Nuclear National Laboratory A 24-year-old California man was arrested for suspended license and questioned by the FBI and Department of Energy after reportedly seeking entry to a Y-12 facility and then later at a security portal at the Y-12 National Security Complex. He was found trying to get into the building by a rear door. An employee confronted Malakar, who demanded a tour of the building. After being denied, Malakar drove off and was stopped by police. Rishi Chatterjee Malakar of Freemont, Calif. was detained by police for investigation and subsequently interviewed by special agents of the FBI and the Department of Energy’s Office of Inspector General. He was arrested on a charge of driving on a suspended license. Wikipedia: Malakar is a Bengali Hindu surname common throughout West Bengal and Bangladesh near India.

      An employee of the New Hope Center confronted Rishi Chatterjee Malakar, 24, as he was attempting to get into the building through a back door. Police said Malakar demanded a tour of the building. When the employee said no, Malakar apparently took off in a maroon-colored Jeep with a Texas license plate.
      Fifteen minutes later, Oak Ridge police stopped Malakar's car on Bethel Valley Road in the eastern part of Oak Ridge National Laboratory. After police pulled him over, Malakar demanded a tour of ORNL. Officials arrested him for driving on a suspended license.
      Officers took him to the headquarters of the Oak Ridge Police Department headquarters where special agents with the FBI and the Department of Energy interviewed him.
      Authorities later took him to the Anderson County Detention Facility in Clinton where he's being held for driving on a suspended license.
