  4. 3 injured 2 gunmen February 23, 2015 shooting March 26, 2015 Man, 21, arrested in Feb Bethune-Cookman University shooting  One of two gunmen involved in last month's shooting at Bethune-Cookman University that injured three innocent bystanders was arrested Wednesday Ladell Pleasure, 21, was charged with discharging a weapon/firearm on school property, a felony, according to a Daytona Beach police report. Pleasure told police that he was at the school the night of the Feb. 23 shooting, but that he didn't shoot. Dilber Kukic, owner of Neighborhood Construction Corp., had a permit to do plumbing work and other renovations at 121 Second Ave., where sources said “careless” workers accidentally ruptured a gas main Thursday afternoon. Kukic, who may have been injured in the blast, was among 50 suspects busted in a widespread corruption scheme involving more than a dozen housing and building inspectors. Kukic, 39, allegedly paid $600 to fix housing code violations at two buildings he owned in Upper Manhattan

  8. 1 killed 3 injured March 26, 2015  Tractor trailer plows, collapses into Central Texas interstate bridge, 1 killed Associated Press  semi tractor-trailer carrying a large load crashed into an overpass under construction along a major interstate in Central Texas, killing one person and halting traffic in both directions. crash caused two massive 135,000 pound beams to fall on on several vehicles. Four other vehicles, two semi-trucks and two pickup trucks were also involved in the crash. Clark Brandon Davis, 32, from Arlington was killed in the wreck; he was inside one of the pickup trucks, smashed and on fire. Three other people were injured and they were transported to area hospitals. The driver of the 18-wheeler could be charged with several crimes, including manslaughter.
