(AP)  A gunman opened fire at a restaurant in eastern Czech Republic, killing eight people and wounding one before he fatally shot himself, officials said. It was the worst shooting attack in the country's history. Suspect local man around age 60. A waitress from the restaurant was hospitalized, he said. Interior Minister said "it was not a terrorist attack."

The man charged in the murder of America’s Next Top Model contestant Mirjana Puhar should have been deported rather than granted amnesty because of his known gang connections, U.S. immigration officials have conceded. Puhar, 19, was a runner-up in the 21st installment of the reality show, which aired last year. The suspect in her murder is also 19.  an illegal immigrant, was a gang member who should have been deemed ineligible for a work permit under President Obama’s 2012 amnesty executive order, the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The suspect allegedly fatally shot Puhar and three others in Charlotte, North Carolina, in February of 2015, and is facing first-degree murder charges. Cops reportedly believe the crime may have been drug related  Puhar and two other victims were found dead in her boyfriend's home in Charlotte, North Carolina. According to TMZ reports she was killed in a triple homicide. Police  arrested 19-year-old Emmanuel Jesus Rangel and charged him with 3 counts of 1st degree murder. The boyfriend, Jonathan Alvarado was 23 ... and the third victim was 21-year-old Jusmar Gonzaga-Garcia. Jusmar was Jonathan's roommate and best friend. We're told Mirjana had just moved in with the guys.
